Abo Bob
Just throwing up an idea. What if we had a stereo install day maybe in a Strathfield car park where you bring, or buy on the day, your uninstalled stereo gear and the people in the club with experience can help you install it? We wouldn't be making any sub boxes for you but I think it would be fair to say that the main purpose of this is for the experienced people to help with wiring for those who know nothing or very little about car electrics and to show how things like the dash come apart and go back together for those who haven't delved that deep into their cars as yet. We can also tune the system once it's up and running as well as explain along the way what things are and how they work. satanic
You're planning on doing this at a Strathfield car park? Don't think it'll go down too well.... it is part of their business you know. Also; the soldering irons which plug in will be useless, you won't have readily accessible power. So you'll need a gas powered one. Haysey
Its a good idea in theory, but i dont know how well it would work, stezza installs do need a bit of concentration and explaining it to the unknowing user would take alot of time, so 3 people in the know how with stezzas, and 8 uninstalled systems would be a bit whack......... Abo Bob
It was a vauge suggestion that we use a carpark belonging to Strathfield car radios but I never suggested asking them for advice. Heatshrink is great. its like easy to use electrical tape. The dash is for making the wires all neat and shit by keeping them out of view.
