Here we see the elusive GeeTeeTee trying to grab traction in the wild

 I even read that in the narrators voice lolz

Faster than a speeding billet, leaps tall culverts in a single bound: look, it's a bird: it's plane: it's SuperMat!!!

(Now that's Sigworthy Mat!)

Tempting

Smoking it up as always Mat.

I hate my car atm so its all yours haha

I just noticed you dont seem to have a front or rear diffuser on your GTR does this mean its a non v-spec?

Yes, it is not a V-spec, I asked a couple of times on different posts about this and also asked if I take the logo off , will it stuff the paint up.

Just had one reply so far that said if I use a heat gun/dryer that I should be able to take it off without damage???

I do not want bullsh@t on my car, it was there when I bought it, probably added a few $s for DHs like me, but I did not know any better and if I did would not have cared, just loved the Rs, it will be my last car and I intend to enjoy it

Next week this car will be around 370KWAW as a daily , it should have much more response and kick in about 3k , the motor has enough internal mods to take it to 800HP with a new fuel system , so I do not think I need to boast by putting a BS logo on the back bumper, sure do LUV it , do I have to take it OFF

OK I will take it :action-smiley-069: Just love to put it in my lounge room

I took the front and back diffusers off as they are useless for a DD , cannot get up my driveway  I also cannot lie straight in bed :woot:

Will post the new Dyno readouts next week , has to be better than this

Sh@t, just wrote a long post and lost it in cyber space, BUT I said I would have taken any of the Rs, I loved the look, the history of this machine and its ability to be Modified

I said I would never buy a black car because they are HOT and get DIRTY when you just look at them BUT look like a million $s when clean, do not blink or you will miss the moment :woot:

I think I would like to change the wheels, like the black but I think a little bling looks good down low, any suggestions :action-smiley-069:

Black is a good look and I got to luvit, but I think I would prefer to change the rims but running out of $ so that might be a while , maybe I they will grow on me

Lowering it, funny you should say that, when I have been driving around 3 or 4 blokes gave me the  but signed me to lower it, now you have got me looking at it again, haha

I asked at the shop when I dropped it in about lowering it and he said it is not far off legal now , is it 100mm to the lowest point? I know it is higher than my 350GT because I can get up my driveway easier in the R34. I think there is a trade off between looks and bad road conditions??

Also, up here the potholes and lumps on the roads can be a pain and the road I like to drive the most is one of the worst , good straights and lots of windy sections but crappy road surface in sections and it changes all the time because they patch it , it rains and stuffed again  I have done 2 tyres on the 350GT on this road, bloody potholes

I will ask the shop how much can I lower it, the cops up here are pretty hard on some mods especially if they can see them :teehee:

yeah not too long on the heat gun just enough to soften up the glue (too much will dmg stuff and potentially warp the plastic if you go crazy)

Lift an edge and peel slowly re applying heat if necessary but probably wont need to.. If you want to be anal and can manage it some fishing wire will help get it off easier too

Will definately look alot better without it as its not a genuine sticker.

I've always wanted a set of diffusers but fark paying insane money for them! Goodluck with the retune, Joey has been telling me about it here and there

Thanks Dave , I will take the heat to it when I get it home next week. Fishing wire, you mean run it under the sticker after I lift the end? Why do they put this BS stuff on, just made me mad when I found out it is fake because I am worried about the paint trying to get it off

I have only found a couple of RED R3s on the web , one was in East Germany, Your pics were the best  was this a standard colour in the R3 range, only had one red car a TT300ZX , just loved it and a ton of fun :geek:

Joey has been a great help and being able to PM him made it easy for me as I know I have asked some dumb questions, poor Joe, haha. Getting help from you blokes has made it so much easier trying to get the results I am after, I will know if it worked out as expected next week and will post the Dyno results to get your collective input  More important I will tell you how it drives now as that is the test for me

I have had over 20 cars but never really got into them like this and I am enjoying it. It will probably be my last car, what a way to go out

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
