Lets call it what it really is a Goal.

you need to antisapate what you need to do to get what you really want in life.

Not what someone else wants but what you want for your life.

My goal this year will be to get back into sport.

PS: A reselution is a recipe for fail. If you really want something then go after it with everything you are

and you will have what you want.

Go give plasma or platelets once a month minium. (they are bits of blood)

Go to gym and put on a minium of 5kgs like the doctor told me I should almost 12months ago

Try and take up squash again.

Get semi slicks and try and get out to at least 3 track days.

Improve my skimboarding.

Finish off all the little bits on the car.

And just in general get out more.

If I nail one I'll be happy

My new years resolution is not to rent my house or apartement to loosers who cannot pay rent...

Oh and not to spend more than 7g's on the new 63" plazma when the new house is finished being built...

On a personal note;

I never make real resolutions...

only fake bottomless lies...

Well I gave up smoking last year and have put on an extra 10. So this year will be getting rid of the 10kg's

Good on ya

My new resolution (Not in order of preference!)

1. Raise good money for a proper, more adult like amount

aka an amount that says "Im not living with my mother and stinging off her"

Reasons: I will need to pay for my own UNI courses in 2008, and i do want to save for moving out and a nice R32

2.Join Gym/ Dance classes/ Karate with Ian or something

Something ive allways enjoyed were indoor exersise and sexersise

Reasons: I love it, I lost my dancing and flexibility abilities when i started to bludge year 12 dance, and because i want to catch up to Ians quick and strong physicality

3. Get a car

Reasons: Because ill need one, and i know more about them than 3 gernerations of my family do.

4. Dont lose focus

Reasons: I have my priorities and goals to consider

5. And prepare myself with freelance study on psychology before i go to UNI

Reason: I dont want to be a bum, and i dont want to lose focus.....also because ill be prepared

6. Get intouch with some old mates i havent seen in ages

Reasons:.....Friends for life, and i need to uphold that too

7. Let lose every so often(may i note the EVERY SO OFTEN).....aka if it takes me to get tipsy or to have a sugar high then it spells one

Reasons: Ive been more shy than usuall lately, i guess its because im getting to know new friends and stuff,

also because im becoming open to more different discussions.

That is all i can think about

And this is the end of Stephies little rant,

...

6. Get intouch with some old mates i havent seen in ages

Reasons:.....Friends for life, and i need to uphold that too

....

EVERYONE should to that hey. It should be a must every year for everyone.

I am going to move on and revitalise my life.

And paint my car.......

And play my Nintendo Wii as much as I want as it is good exercise!!

Oh, and not miss more than 2 events due to work!! Work is after all, a means to fund my social life!!

mines are:

1. get a girlfriend

2. lose weight

3. buy a property before i spend too much money on my car

4. pass everything at uni

i will tell yous how many of these actually come true at the end of the year

Objects in bold could be a problem to complete.

:teehee:

    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
    • Does that German restaurant still exist in the old place out the NW end of Goulburn? When I say "out the NW end of"...I am really being vague. It was 1997 when I was last there, and the only point of reference I can recall is that it was on the opposite side of the main drag from the big merino. And when I say "opposite side of the main drag", I don't mean "on the main drag". It was either a couple of streets back from there, or might have even been out in the sticks a bit further. Was an old farm building or mill or somesuch. And when I say "the big merino" I might actually be thinking of a completely different part of town, because I just looked on maps and the big bugger is not where I remembered him to be! The food was good, consisting largely of various German mystery-meat sausage/loaf things and kartofflen.
    • So while the second sentence is completely correct and the whole point of the conversation, the first sentence bears consideration. If this bloke is just hoping to throw big turbos on and drive it around, because there are no helpful facilities at all in his tropical paradise** then he likely has zero chance of even knowing what the TP is on the last column in the stock maps, let alone know whether the ECU is operating anywhere near it or past it. So the point is very very moot. And, per what I said before, at stock boost on those turbos, you may well be off the end of the map. **I'm just back from Vanuatu, so I know exactly what small Pacific nations can be like wrt paradise without requisite facilities. But it's not even that simple. I put a high flow on my car and had to drive it around without a proper tune because of the lack of opportunity*** to put the bigger AFM and injectors into it to allow it to be tuned. I had to turn the boost down to less than I had before, and back off the boost controller's ramp, because it was exploring parts of the map that it didn't drive in before, and really couldn't access for tuning on the dyno either, and so was pinging. It was still well within the last column, because when I first**** set up the Nistune on the Neo I rescaled all axes of the maps to give some more space to explore. ***Family dyno was broken ****This was 13 years ago, and the TIM thing wasn't a thing then and so TP would definitely grow when pushing past the stock tune's limits.
    • Yep, this bit another local owner. I caught it before putting the transmission back into the car, what I noticed was the pressure plate fingers weren't flat and even. It's more obvious with the pull style clutch because the throwout bearing ring was visibly not flat once everything is put together. Nismo should really update their instructions to call out this specific detail. I'm not even sure the clutch as-shipped orients everything properly.
