Stuff having a soft top, only takes 1 sharp object from someone to cut and you have to fix($$$$$$$$)

i try not to think that anyone who looks at my car - or any other car for that fact, is a thief or potential thief.

a good british roadster is what should be bought if thinking softtop ;D

i have to admit, going for a hammer in michael capella's mx5 was so much fun to windy point

on a side note (which is what wasteland is all abotu lol) UPGARDE TIME IN LESS THAN A WEEK, YAY!

yeah thats such a negative shitty way to think, and you'll become so badly paranoid you wont even wanna drive your car anywhere anymore, wtf is the point of having a skyline if its gonna sit in your garage all the time where nobody can see it :D

ok maybe that was written out wrong. i was trying to say nobody thinks that someone is going to target their car just b/c they have a soft top - if that made sense. unfortunately, my car is in the garage where nobody can see it - not intentionally either.

it's good to be paranoid about your car to some extent. If every single person put a good alarm with immobilisation points in their car it would cripple the stolen car racket and reduce everyones insurance premiums. This would of course be a very good thing.

Especially since you have a vehicle pager system Sam and Duc - it's the only way to go imho. I am putting the same alarm as you guys in my R34 before I put it on the road. It should be the law imho.

the pager system makes leaving your car parked anywhere a bit less nerve-racking. so when is the 34 all ready to go? :D

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
