They have tracks:

Kwinana Drag complex which is similar setup to WSID (good facility!!)

Barbagello (where V8 supercars run each year)

So they have better facilities than us as we dont even have a drag strip!!

I'm completing a double of Chemical Engineering and Finance *sigh* finally on my last year

There is plenty of work out there but I always worry that I wont find a job! A lot of companies have great graduate programs. I'm think minerals proc/mining or oil & gas...

At the moment I'm happy to move away or stay in SA...

Any one have a link to the rb30 conversion, iv looked at the one on SAU but it too long 290+ pages

Need info on whats needed. Iv got the rb30e from a 89 r31 and my top end from my 33 gts-t. Iv got around 8 grand to put into my engine (internals) but have been thinking of the conversion any info would be goood

Well, rather than starting a new thread, I thought I may do a little re-introduction of myself here ;

My name's Lee, and recently I purchased an R33 GTS-t. I've been a member of SAU for almost 3 years, the amount of time it took me to convince the wife a '33 was a good thing to have! LOL

I've been interested in imports for about the last 5-6 years, but took me till now to be in a position to buy one. I'm 26 now so insurance is reasonable (at long last) and I finished my studies in Electrical Engineering just under 18 months ago (end 2005). I now work as an Electrical Engineer in the city, and some of my previous cars I've had have been:

75 GC Galant (first car)

81 XD Falcon S pack

95 EF Fairmont

91 R31 Silhouette

96 EFII Fairmont Ghia (Manual!!)

and now my R33

I also currently own a 2006 Mazda SP23 which is the daily. Well its sort of mine and my wifes. I drive her to work in the SP23 most days, and take it on to my work. But if she needs the car for something else that day, I drive the '33

So a little about me to revive this dead in the water wasteland!!

Not sure how many other people are recent members or been hiding in the dark so some intro's of yourselves would be good to get to know people. I plan to make it to some cruises, but work and family generally restricts me to Sunday Cruises, so need more sunday cruises!!
