haha yeah i get bored at work so i just jump on the net .... govt worker haha well its actually my last week,

No i dont know how it happened :D the other side was rusting up so they replaced that too .... and my discs were in soo bad need of machining they had to actually take them off site cos their machine wasnt 'heavy duty' enough to handle the job. They said i was VERY lucky and they didnt charge me for the brake lines.

not moving :) Besides i couldnt have my plates in SA cos they are on a 200sx over there haha :) I'd feel naked without them.

Coming over for JMS Drift Day with a couple of the Perth Boys.

Govt work is pretty cool - ive been here since Feb and its only in this month they've cracked down on internet usuage and started monitoring ..... but who cares by the time the bss get sthe report ofr this month - i wont be here :D

  • 2 weeks later...

Had the pleasure of a close inspection of a new commodore today. What an absolute POS.

Bumper was loose and rattled

trim around the seat rails was loose and wouldnt go back on

factory floor mats were too soft and wouldnt stay in place, plus the trim was loose

plastic fittings in the centre consol didnt fit properly and were loose.

THE CAR HAD JUST UNDER 5500 KM ON THE CLOCK.

Seen better quality in a LADA NIVA

    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
