BTW you have the same side skirts, rear 1/4, and front fenders as mine.

I'm trying to find the right offset for mine too.

If you do find a offset for it let me know.

car looks nice dont like the rims the 18s would be enough with nice offsets like roy said... it would be good to see the car in life in the sun to get the full effect of the paint.

THe colour is abit of a overkill, didnt think it would turn out so bright, i will bring it out if theres a local cruise.

Thanks for your help and opinion guys, appreciate it.

Paint looks awesome buddy, even though the pics are shitty.

As for rims i would stick with 19's, with charcol/black centre and polished dish :(

Hope to see the car one day. Maybe even line up yours, Janissary, and mine to see the differance in paint. I'd imagine yours would "pop" more, being a custom colour.

i know what you mean, but at the moment it has 18x10's and doesnt fill out the guards enough.

So im thinking 19x12.5 Work Vs rims.

Although im unsure of what offset i need to fill out the rear guards.

19's should be fine. But get something like a +20 offset.... you have large guards dude, so I wouldn't be skimpy on the offset.... even look at some spacers!

Paint job looks awesome mate - i believe it was you i saw in my rear view mirror yesterday at about 5:30'ish on Ballarat Road; you slowed down next to another bloke in an burgandy R33 and then done a u-turn - I was in my R32.

Pictures dont do this paint job justice - very nice in the flesh :)

Cheers,

Steve.

nice colour... bit too porno for my liking but hey I'm old.

worst pics ever. lol.

what's the deal with the FMIC... why is it laying back at the top??

if anything it would be better to lay back at the bottom like a GTR rather than forward in case you clock the curb parking etc....

Yeah that was me, slowing down next to a friend of mine towards caroline springs.

I had to lay back the cooler , because my piping runs the factory way and the piping is run behind the intercooler, instead of under, because its abit too low to the ground.

    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
