Hi all,

I was giving my 32gtr (dead stock) a run on the w/end and a speed hump (those annoying metal ones that you see in shopping centres but a rubber version) came up out of nowhere, i hit it straight on under hard braking but still managed to hit it at about 80km/h

Only reason I am concerned is because I was under hard braking and my suspension was under max load, so that when i hit all that energy had to go somewhere..

I went for a drive afterwards and it seemed to be ok, but i am still concerned that i might have done some damage? Should I be concerned?

Mate i did a similar thing, i locked em up before the speed hump that jump out in front of me :S

I then backed off a the last minute and tuned to hit the bump at a bit of a angle. I didnt do inay structural damage but i flat spotted a tyre in the actual bead of it! it went thump thump thump every rotation ! luckily was just ineed of a aanother tyre to fix it . get it looked at by a suspensio place

MANWHORE, I live in the middle of nowhere (50k's outside of Melb). This road has no speed limit and has this long sweeping corner with this dodgy home made speed hump in the middle of it!! I agree with speed limits (most).. they are there for a reason, but i don't speed in suburban areas, thats why i have a honda civic with a 4inch exhaust lol.

Or the rims!! Damn 80km... I was thinking i was going to see some ugly photos here .. thank god i didnt .. hopefully all is well ..

Check your rims .. with a small bump like that id say they would be the worst effected.. doubt you would have chassis or mount damage .. but im sure pedders will find something .. anything to make money!
