What numbers did Leigh punch out in the end???

Me one happy chappy, Made 262 I think and Sam doesn't like tuning above 260 with standard internals, so he backed off to 258 and thats on a hot run. All I can say is, Sams bloody good. :P:huh::):(:(:):):)

Sounds like you went on a GTR spotting spree :D

Spotted R34GTR rip its front bar half off going out of my driveway this arvo :(

sam tuned it to 262rwkw on 18psi. Thats all we could push it cause the fuel pump aint up to the job so he suggested a surge tank setup then more fuel = more power lol. We had it at 275rwkw at one stage but too lean. Im getting it street tuned this week somtime!

You still got a smile or your face leigh when you drive it?

What pump are you running leigh?

Running a Bosch 040, Sam thinks there's still room for me with fuel. Whats your fuel system now?

Haven't really had a good fang ( :P )in it since the tune. Very happy with it though.

I have nismo 555cc injectors & i would say i have a gtr pump as its running out of puff at 260+kw. By the way i have found someone that is able to street tune & is pritty good with a pfc. He is going to be tuning my car this week somtime. basically just focusing on partial throttle and stuff! But i need a good fuel system then more boost! Yea you will have to take me for a ride in your car one time!!!

You will have to let me know how you get on and who is going to do your street tune.

like wise, you will have to take me for a spin also.

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
