turbo way too small? 1 bar of boost should have seen pretty bulk power on a correctly sized turbo.

faaaat torque curve, like it!

i have a Q45 AFM too - reckon you could let me know what your pinouts were on it, and what colour the wires are? mine go WHITE, BLACK, RED in the direction of airflow. i'm assuming SIGNAL, GROUND, +12V but nobody can give me a straight answer :)

I think the 80mm pod adaptor is causing issues as it blocks off the outer 10mm or so of the afm. Possibly causing a high speed stream of air through the center of the 90mm afm, this is why it runs so rich.

The rb20det pfc loadpoints maxing out is an interestering issue.

Mine with the stock turbo at wot uses load point 19 across the rev range.

Changing my AFM fromt he rb20 to Z32 item changed nothing with regards to load points used but it did change the afm voltage.

In the PFC manual it does state that the H/C is only good for mild mods, bigger mods including cams etc it suggests you need the software to modify the actual base map?!

Strange but true. I wonder if this is only an issue with the rb20det pfc.

Also at WOT Darrens car is running (AFR) initially in to the 10's then comes up to the 11's by peak power, it cannot be leaned out any more. :(

So there are a few little rwkw's available.

Darren did you check if boost it tailing off at high rpm? It probably is when you consider my stock rb20det turbo tails off to 9psi by peak power and makes 24rwkw less (176rwkw).

Bl4ck32 & my dyno run

63km/h is approx 2000rpm

132km/h is approx 5000rpm.

I suspect mine wheel spun a little from 70-80km/h, hence the dip.

The torque curve doesn't represent the ignition table.

I would like to check out your ign. table Bl4ck32. :)

Mine is running bugger all, 17degree's at around 2000-2800rpm then it drops to 16degree's until 4000rpm where it drops to 15degree's.

Its very interestering how your T3/4 bush bearing turbo with its large turbine wheel spools almost identical to the small RB20DET turbo. :(

The rb20det pfc loadpoints maxing out is an interestering issue.

Mine with the stock turbo at wot uses load point 18 across the rev range.

Changing my AFM fromt he rb20 to Z32 item changed nothing with regards to load points used but it did change the afm voltage.

Thats what Shaun said it did with mine. He needs to see if changing one of the correction tables helps with the fueling issue...

Id say boost does drop off higher in the rpm...i didnt check, but its almost a certainty. There is more left in the turbo, but no room to tune.

Ill call ya today or tomorrow so ya can have a looksie at the settings....

The overlay definitely doesn't do your car justice Bl4ck32.

It seriously pulls so much damn harder than mine. :(

It hooks up damn well with that 2 way.

The difference in spool between your T3/4 bush vs my stock rb20det BB turbo is nothing.

Which honestly suprises me, yours has quite a larger turbine wheel and compressor wheel, not to mention its bush not ball bearing.

Its given me motivation to get off my arse and earn some money to put towards a new turbo. :)

I'll definitely be happy with a fairly cheap VG30DET highflow.

having just read every single page of this thread from start to finish its definitley one of the best ive read on any forum

im another nzer and are building an rb30de engine at this stage. i drive a nissan cefiro with a laurel front current with the sohc rb30. atm its running a rb20e intake manifold and injectors and the 20e loom and computer

here the laurels come out with an rb25de. if i can get the engine out of one of those, can i take the stock loom and wire this to the stock computer and i presume it will run the 30 until i get it turboed

cheers

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
