hmmmm. thanx for thatk, i was some times thinking the stealth wing was the one on a series 1 gtst r33.. hehe.. so thats what they call that wing.. hmmm.. no offence, not my flavor at all, good for drifting a guess tho :P, but no good for quatar mile races :D .. each to there own tho, its good everyone has different flavors, thats what makes this world with so many options :P

Um what doyou mean good for drifting no good for drag racing....unless your running like 1000hp and doin high speed runs of like 350km/hr....then your wing aero dynamics wont affect shit

explain to me why in drift comps > formula D for example, why do they take there wings off to drift when doing the sharper turned courses?, and im talking about silvia's with 400hp and less ..

???? and back on when doing more straight courses?

I'm looking for a very simple mild kit for my Series 2 sedan. Is it possible to get a factory series 2 side skirt for my car? As i'm new to the skyline scene and dont really know my way around could somebody point me in the right direction of an aussie site or importer i could get a sedan kit through? Any help is appreciated... Matt.

This is my favourite rear bar and skirts, what is it?

Very neat and tidy - I dont like big grills and mesh and vent and curves.

Looks similar to stock but a bit different, not sure if the skirt are stock or not, and I like the stealth wing.

Anyone know where to get genuine body kits from? I would like to upgrade, but don't want a cheap kit that doesnt fit properly.

what do you all think of this rear bar.. i like it, loox r34 style. some reason the wine red makes it look cheap and maby the mesh is bad on this one :)

R33 GTS AB REAR BAR..

that rear bar looks so bad i think it gave me cancer

Anyone got a GTR Type front bar on a series two? and if so where did you get it from?, any pics would be great!!

Whats the differences when buying a bar for a series two.... is it just that it hasent got the grill atatched to it?

I want to get rid of my standard front bar for a GTR type because the series two bar i have only exposes half of my intercooler wich is a waste!

we get a quantifyable differrence on cats car by adjusting the rear wing, by increasing angle of attack we can increase rear grip in the wet quite noticeably. These wings have effects at speeds from about 120kmh and up, most tracks in the da series now have entry speeds of 140-170kmh so they are far more than cosmetic.

Rhys millens car is a perfect example of this he has published down force results for his drift wing on his GTO, i just used a mates digital pressure pads and fitted them under the boot rubber stops to get an idea of what worked and what didnt.

/\/\/\ Agreed, saw on Formula D that Rhys was bragging on how much his wing helps the GTO, would love a URAS one for my 33 >_<

Really like this front bar(EDGE i think) for the R33, anyone know of any places in Australia that has it?

in MY opinion, any aftermarket kit for r33 make the skyline look 'cheap'

take the s2 r33 for example, i think it looks fantastic with the standard kit, not overly done looks so clean. rims plus maybe a bit of a lowering would look mint.

I love the series II kit. But the orange lens on the front bar is such an eye sore!

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
