Yeah - it should say -

"frangi-free zone" !!!

LOL :)

:P

people living on the coast here have black stickers with white writing on them that say things like:

MONA VALE

Somewhere on the Australian coast

the funniest one I've seen was something similar to:

VEGEMITE

On every Australians' toast

we should get some made that say

FRANGIPANIS

It's flowers on cars I hate most

:)

You guys only just started noticing them like 2 weeks ago?

Far out, I've been spotting them for the last 18months!

Some people need to pay more attention...

Mind you, a group of friends bought a couple and stuck them on a mates car at his 19th birthday... LOL He went mental!

Seriously, I just see them, have a little giggle, and think "I'll never have one of those on my car"

If flower stickers on cars are getting you lot so pissed off, you all need to take a chill pill, would hate to see you in a truly stressful event.

yeah... everytime I see them I just wanna freaking stab someone!

Ooo Liz is feeling stabby again! Liz doesnt muck around when to comes to 'cute and cuddly' :)

Maybe a good idea for a sticker, is to put a normal frangipanni sticker down, and then put the "No Smoking" style red circle with the cross over the top!

I like your style I hate them so much :) and i dont know why but it might be because every car that has them drives on the road like a pain in the arse

how about we just ignore them... just a thought.

NO! they should be made illegal as they encourage stupid driving habbits, 55 in a 80 zone ,

driving into another lane with out indicating and road rage i think it is just safer to get them off the cars!!:D:w00t::O

I never noticed them before....but after reading this thread I see them everywhere now.........

hahaha pwned

sorry mate, they are killing my life. i see them EVERYWHERE.

LOL :D

It's shit because I they were kinda funky to see every now and then. But they are on everything... I'm waiting for the Cherry Blossom to take off!

And something I've been dying to post up here was located on the autobarn website. It was a big flashing picture of all the frangipani shit the stores stocked. I get on now to find it so I can show everyone and THE FORKER's GONE :(:D:(

Just saw two batches of three each on some non-descript Korean wagon, Daewoo or Hyundai or something. Three on the rear windscreen (one large one and two small) and the same on the drivers side rear-most window, just around the corner of the car from the rear windscreen one.

    • How would you even adjust the clutch if the pedal already has the correct free play? The operating cylinder has no adjustment in mounting position or rod length. On pull style clutches there is also no ability to adjust the bearing carrier. Push type I can see how adjusting the carrier height makes it all work.   If this is the twin plate clutch did you verify that your friction disks were oriented correctly? It's not mentioned in the directions at all you just have to notice that one side the friction disks have a part number on the hub fingers and a subtle coning to those fingers. Another thing that I noticed was if you put the friction disks in backwards the pressure plate fingers will not be even and flat when the clutch is installed.
    • yeah, mechanically, it is probably do-able, off the top of my head, there would be the transfer case, which I believe will bolt up to the rear of the RWD transmission, the shorter rear tail shaft. A front drive shaft, front diff, engine upper sump, front drive shafts, front hubs and front AWD struts (they are shaped around the front drive shafts), LCAs (at the very least from the front suspension) oil cooler.  You might want the rear diff from an AWD too, so you can be certain the front and rear diff rations are identical.  Who knows what brackets and mounts you might need.  So a whole doner car might be the best option if you need to maintain RHD. Then actually making it work, that would be a whole different story.
    • Take the fall as a warning sign for future endeavours  Stay safe mate
