Look - I realize were a long way from Mexico so I'm feel it is my duty as the sole representative of North America and past resident of that country to point out to you several facts:

1) They only put worms in sh*t tequila to sell it to tourists

2) No one eats the worm

3) No one does shots of good tequila

4) Tequila must be followed by a beer chaser

Oh and one other thing thats pretty important that everyone should know...............ALWAYS give Smoky a huge :) when he's driving on the skidpan ;)

 dont be suprised if you get the universal signal in return :P

Ok.............so only one person used the ID box.........that was evilweevil - can anyone still waiting for confirmation please PM me what you wrote on the trasfer so i know who's money is who's?

Cheers

I did!!

Hey all you Welshies,

Just a couple of important things.

1. CAMS Licenses. If you do not have one we can sign you up for one on the day. All you will need is your Club membership card (you'll need this even if you already have a CAMS license anyways). You can then either provide a credit card number or give us the $$$ (I think it's $89 this year) and we can give you a 30 day temp license and send off your forms to CAMS for you.

2. Entries. The entries for Victorian participants open this Friday. Last time entries opened at 10:14am and all 50 spots were taken by 12.01pm. Thats 1hr 47mins. So - if you want to come to this event let Steve know before Friday or you will miss out. If you don't believe me here is the link to the last DECA event in Vic. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=151753

For those that are coming here is the link for the Vic one for this time around. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=164163

If for some reason your name does not appear on the list when Scotsman updates it and you have made arrangements with Steve before Friday to say you are coming please let me, Scotsman or Steve know ASAP. I will try and get Scotsman to post up the NSW entries before the Vic ones open on Friday.

For those that are coming - you better start practising those handbrake turns. :)

Made a Revolution Racegear run this morning. New helmet, fire extinguisher and a 4 way, 3 point Sabelt harness. Not the big buck stuff but should work well enough for my purposes.

Getting stoked for this....

but us NSW guys spots are secure yes??????

I dont want to get down there and find out we arent!

Steve - yes :P

jhahahaha

few secret spots up here!

All people who had contacted Steve before Friday and said they were coming ARE secure in getting a spot.

Cheers.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
