i wasnt going to say anything BUT i had too get it off my chest so that others may benefit, on the 9th of january 2007, 10.30 pm, on busy stacey street, 3 guys decided to chase me because they were "hanging out" outside thier mates car and didnt want to move so i beeped at them he decided it would be good to chase me and cut me off, in which i moved and lost control on the grass , hitting a fence, causing 3500 bucks woth of damage, mind you i didnt have full insurance at the time couldnt afford it, i didnt catch the blokes number plate because he broke both my mirrors and my rear view mirror didnt catch him , by the time i turned around he was gone, AND I CANT BELIEVE THAT I SWERVED AT AND ALMOST HIT 3 CARS, AND NOT ONE f**kING PERSON DECIDED TO CALL THE COPS TO TELL THEM EITHER MY OR THE ASSHOLE WHO CUT ME OFF's NUMBER PLATE, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE I COULD OF BEEN KILLED AND/OR KILLED MANY OTHERS IN OTHER CARS..............................

2 weeks later my cousin is coming over to pick me up so we can go watch some racing, some dude in a jeep decides to go up on the footpath, accidently knocking down an elderly man WITH HIS f**kING JEEP, the dude didnt even get out of the jeep to see what he had done, NOT ONE PERSON DECIDED TO GO AFTER THIS PERSON TO GET THIER NUMBER PLATE OR ANYTHING and my cousin was 3 cars behind, my cousin, having the same mentality as me, and also having a fast VL, chased this kunt, called the cops and gave em his number plate. NOW THATS HOW PEOPLE SHOULD BE. if someone had done that for me, maybe i would have the 3500 still in my pocket now, So PLEASE PEOPLE IF YOU SEE ANYTHING WRONG SUCH AS THESE CASES CALL THE COPS, ITS NOT SNITCHING, DONT BE A BiTCH AND TELL SOMEONE ABOUT IT. thanks for reading. im sure

btw, if u ever wonder why theres so many questions coming out of this account, many ppl use it.

this happened in sydney?

the world is turning like america. no one gives a f**k about others.

sigh

wow

yesterday morning on my way to the gym i saw a lady come off her bicycle. I stopped my car and ran to her aid. and at least 8 other people did as well. The poor lady didnt have her helmet on right and her head was all open when i got to her. I was impressed by how many people stopped to help.

The world isnt so bad after all

ewwwwww

i took the missis for a ride last night (first time she's been on a bike for a while) any way these fools thought theyd throw a bottle at us while drirving past (missed my wife by a few centimeters), stupid thing is i saw them take the next turn.

so i followed and found their car parked down the road! i know where they live now so ill get my revenge.......

but how? any ideas?

Go to a powder coating workshop, ask for a bag of the powder they sweep up off the floor.. will be a nice murky brown colour of all the other colours mixed in.. pour it all over the car at night and when the sun comes up it will bake it onto their paint job  or flaming molotov cocktails through the loungeroom window usually does the trick :)

Take the valves out of all four of their tyres. This way all four tyres deflate but you're not actually damaging something ie it's a pain in the arse for them but they don't have to fork out $600+ for a complete set of tyres. A few reasons for this:

- it might not have been the owner of the car that threw the bottle and s/he might have had a go at their passenger for doing so (that has happened to me were a 'mate' decided to throw shit at people from the safety of the passenger seat of my car. Needless to say he was abused severely by me)

- Some people put their car before other expenses they judge as less important... like vaccinations for their baby who later gets really ill... I know of this happening!

- revenge could just lead bad karma your way

Back on topic I was in a serious car crash in January and heaps of people stopped and tried to help. No one really did anything outstanding but just having someone talking to me kept me from going into shock until the parrametics arrived. People do still care but are afraid to get involved if their own safety is at risk. I'm not sure I'd chase down a vehicle containing people who forced you off the road just for beeping at them.

    • Hey y'all! I'm curious about how y'all go about widebodying your cars. I noticed that when running a square setup, my front wheels are a bit more tucked in than my rear wheels. Not by much, maybe 5-10mm. This leads me to wonder - when I widebody, should I use narrower front flares and wider rear flares? I found a set of 40mm rear flares that I really like, and was thinking of pairing them with some 18mm front flares, but I don't want the car to look strange. How have others done this? Note, I'm in a sedan. Thanks!
    • And if it was anything other than an auto tranny part, it might be a problem. But seeing as all auto trannies belong in the recycling bin, it's fine.
    • I have an R32 Fenix rad. It is good.
    • All the schemas I can see, indicate your typical setup of ATF 'cooler' (read: heat exchanger) in the bottom radiator tank..ie; https://nissan.epc-data.com/stagea/wgnc34/5413-rb25det/engine/214/ ...but I can prattle on a bit here. These trannies have a thermistor in the sump ~ the TCU reads this and 1. bumps the line pressure up when the ATF is 'cold' and 2. prevents the TC lockup clutch from operating, until the ATF comes up to minimum operating temp (keeps the ATF 'churning' through the TC so it heats up quicker) -- trigger point is around 55C. In these conditions, the engine coolant temperature rises faster than the ATF temperature, and also helps heat the ATF up, which is why it's best to think of the in radiator tank setup as a heat exchanger ; the heat can flow in both directions... ...with these trannies, the 'hot' ATF comes out the front banjo bolt, flows through the cooler/heat exchanger, and returns to the box  via the rear banjo bolt. This gets a mention, due to the wildly different opinions wrt running auto trans fluid coolers ~ do you bypass the in radiator tank altogether, or put the cooler inline with the in radiator tank system...and then, do you put the additional cooler before of after the in radiator tank system?... ....fact is the nominal engine operating temp (roughly 75C), happens to be the ideal temperature for the ATF used in these trannies as well (no surprises there), so for the in radiator tank system to actually 'cool' the ATF, the ATF temp has to be hotter than that...lets say 100C -- you've got 25C of 'excess' heat, (slowly) pumping into the 75C coolant. This part of the equation changes drastically, when you've got 100C ATF flowing through an air cooled radiator ; you can move a lot more excess heat, faster ~ it is possible to cool the ATF 'too much' as it were...(climate matters a lot)... ...in an 'ideal' setup, what you're really trying to control here, is flash heating of the ATF, primarily produced by the TC interface. In a perfect world, wrt auto trans oil cooling, you want a dedicated trans cooler with builtin thermostatic valving - they exist. These should be run inline and before the in radiator tank system ~ when 'cold' the valving bypasses the fin stack, allowing the ATF to flow direct to the in radiator tank heat exchanger, so it works 'as intended' with helping heat the ATF up. When 'hot' (iirc it was 50C threshold), the valving shuts forcing the ATF through the cooler fin stack, and onto the in radiator tank heat exchanger...and you sort of think of it as a 'thermal conditioner' of sorts...ie; if you did cool your ATF down to 65C, the coolant will add a little heat, otherwise it works as intended... ...the 'hot' ATF coming from the front bango bolt, is instantiated from the TC when in use, so all/any flash heated oil, flows to the fluid-to-air cooler first, and because of the greater heat differential, you can get rid of this heat fast. Just how big (BTU/h) this cooler needs to be to effectively dissipate this TC flash heat, is the charm...too many variables to discuss here, but I just wanted to point out the nitty-gritty of automatic trans fluid coolers ~ they're a different beastie to what most ppl think of when considering an 'oil cooler'... /3.5cents
    • Been a busy but productive day. Axle and hubs acquired. All fitted up after a bit of modifying. Need to sort out wider mudguards and running light reflector covers but other than that the trailer is gooood to go !!
