The compormise on the turbo will see the thing spool at 4000rpm. Who cares! I wouldn't. I'd take any turbo that hits full boost at 5500rpm or lower as streetable since if your racing (any kind) the engine revs ought not to drop below 5500rpm anyhow.

ahahaah 100Hp Shot :P ? why so little ???

NOS Pro Shot Fogger™ Nitrous System

Direct Port Nitrous Systems

150-500+ Horsepower

$1,600 AUS + shipping

that is wat is going into my vette after she hits the 500rwhp mark :D:):D

P.S with that much nos u need to upgrade a few parts ahahaha

Like a second heart to cope with loss of blood pressure to certain body parts and reinforcement for the rear of your brain ?

LOL yeah i have it's called drifting and if you aint the best of drivers dont assume the same of other drivers

If you do it from a standing start, its not drift, its a burnout. Sounds like you havent driven a car with little traction - I'm not talking about throttle steer.

Look man to be honest i dont give two shits whether anyone believes it or not. The GT30 that i have on my car spools nice and quick. Garrett Australia rate my turbo at 500hp.

I dont see how you can argue with me unless of course you have a GT30 on your line? Which you dont... so just take my word for it

Hey maybe even try one for your buildup, they are a good turbo then you might believe me :(

Go check garret its a 500hp roller

Go ask Ben at RPM what my car has boost at

Why the **** do you think i say they are a good turbo

:bahaha: relax, take a chill pill!

raist60,

I apreciate the comment about the strengthening of engine internals. From what I understand the 500HP engine (standard internals) is one that needs to be tuned and treated with a fair margin for error (though possible none the less). Certainly not going to be a high km engine whether or not you have forged internals. The more HP you build into the system the more frequent the rebuild (even if it's just a basic re-ring etc).

if u make a comment u need to prove it, or else it means nuttin and u were lying! Any1 can make bold comments, but can they prove it?....

Its not hard to insert the dyno graph picture on here.

LOL Ok i was lying. Dont use the GT30, its shit.

People on this forum ask ****ing questions, people who have already done the upgrades answer the questions. Then some know it all **** like you calls us liars. What do i have to gain by lieing about a GT30 turbo?

Dont waste peoples ****ing time when they are trying to help you.

i wasent calling u a farkin lyer!

i just wanna see the dyno graph as i am spending 7.5 grand on parts at the moment and want to compare a few dyno graphs with the rb25det.

Dont have a PMS attack mate!:P

yeah i've noticed. LOL...

not so hard to produce a dyno graph hewre and there surely ??

DREMEN...

what do you want your turbo to do.

As in when do you want boost etc etc ?

I've got a t04E (still to get the housing numbers but they are coming) and it hits boost late... like 4500 for full boost. Makes boost from 3500. Not i get 190rwkw at a lowly 9psi and that's at 6600rpm with little drop off after that.

It all depends on the characteristics your after. My car is superb on the fuel as i rarely hit boost when crusing.

It's all aobut what you want.

Post it up and then get some debate going (not that there isn't any already :))

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
