YUK!

if you cant drive it home like that then... well.... i dunno.

although the Audi TT wasn't bad.

and the 33's were good as they DO drive them on the street. Not stick it in the garage like you'd have to do with that red VL.

But the Red Prelude (my mate ben) god that car is good. Something different everytime that's totall original.

there's a special plan for that car to be coming soon...

i'd also like to see if it would 'loose' to that HSV

is that the prelude that has the amps "floating" and the boot lid raised straight up? is that the guy who works at gary's car audio?

if so, looks like he is finally getting his stereo up to standard. and i wouldnt say that his stuff is original...but thats just my opinion:D

yeah.... ben. but he doesn't work at Gary's anymore.

he defected.

and of course you may have seen similar before... seriously. how can it not have ben done before with that many cars/shows world wide.

I just haven't seen anything like that in a prelude like his.

therefore by the mathematical powers in my mind that works out to be original...too me

gordo i c u r turning her lancer into the typical ricer mobile

Haha, you haven't seen the half of it :P Trust me, she can outrice the best of them. I'm just adding to it...she gotta get off her slack bum and take some photos of it.

Thing is you either have rice or you have power.. and if u have lots of money you have both the rice AND power. Thing is if you got a cheaper car, may as well spend some money making it look nice - usually its not much.. but i think the people who spend much more on the car than what it cost them is going that one step too far. Of course if you want to win autosalon and things, that what u have to do.

Used to hate it, but guess i'm getting used to it.. have to give your car some personality after all otherwise its just another sludge box nobody notices.

just did...

mmm, maybe. Since i've known him he's been alright. Maybe he was just learnt to be nicer or something?!?!!?

Nah, he's helped me out a great deal with stuff, just the usual case of once you get to know someone... etc, etc

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
