You must have got the 1 in 4 kellogs box in which you get a free licence.

I say, invest in KY Lube as you are going to be...well....rammed hard for many years.

mate, it's been said before, but i'll say it again. You're 19, and this is number 4. Exceeding the speed limit by over 100km/h, you're going to get f*cked on and f*cked on bigtime. If the judge likes you, you won't get thrown in the slammer, but it is a possibility. That's my guess anyway. But you won't be driving for a good few years atleast, and your car will more than likely be impounded.

What exactly were the previous offences? If they're basically the same of this, then, well, yea.

I might go eat my noodles now.

considering these were the following threads that you started:

it seems that you havent learnt the lesson at all. We all have done stupid things - but this is your FOURTH time??? damn man.....please - if for some strange reason they let you off easy with just a slap on the wrist - buy my 1982 honda civic and drive that till you are 40. It can only hit 100 km/h and is perfect for jsut commuting.

Seriously man, what were you thinking??????? I doubt you will be let off. if it is the 4th time, with all the prior convictions, it looks like jail time to me - unless your lawyer can say something unreal to save your sorry ass. (e.g poor mental health, or something like that)

Good luck is all I can say.

edit: i sure hope this is a story that you made up.......

how is it possible to loose it 4 times ? thats a big amount .. agreed with everything that every one has said . so you have been driving for roughly 2 years , and been caught 4 times , thats CRAZY ,

i lost my license 4.5 months ago .... racing - it was the best thing that has ever happened to me . taught me a valuable lesson . ill never be speeding again . i know how hard it is with out a car . its a privilege to have a license , most of us take advantage of that

i got caught doing 143 in a 60 zone . i could of attempted to get away , as they were on the otherside of the road . but im glad i didnt - other wise i would never have learnt this lesson the hard way! plus if your caught the punishment is much worse ..

What's a solicitor going to do??? Try to prove he wasn't speeding??? If he was dragging someone he's gone, no one in the world (EVEN the judge) can do anything about it, he broke the law for no reason, and they will get him.

Man, good luck. Youre really gonna need it.

And yeah, wouldnt be surprised if you get locked up for a little while over something as serious as this with so many prior convictions in such a short timeframe.

Only lost my license once, for speeding previously, for 6 months.

Are you all serious about Jail Time?

Dude, think about it, you've been done heaps of times, check out the RTA site about serious driving offences

It might be a possiblity

But Good Luck!

I can't believe you're allowed to have a license, and I sure hope you're permanently suspended from driving for this.

Your best legal advice is to sell the car and start walking everywhere now, cos you'll be doing plenty of it for a long, long time...

Are you all serious about Jail Time?

didnt you say in the other thread that you lost it for 12 months?

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=82374&hl=

the way they would see it is....

Police: "hmmm...young habibskyline has had 4 prior convictions...hmmmm....if we dont give him a jail term, sonny jim here wont learn a lesson. Lets put him in jail so that he does not kill himself or anyone else"

Judge: "ditto"

thats how easy it will be for them to consider jail for u man

Furious driving; Reckless driving; Driving in a manner or at a speed dangerous Maximum court-imposed fine $2,200 $3,300

Maximum gaol term 9 months 12 months

Disqualification - minimum 12 months 2 years

Disqualification - maximum Unlimited Unlimited

Disqualification - in the absence of a specific court order 3 years 5 years

Does that answer your question?

    • Or just put in a 1JZ, and sell me the NEO head 😎
    • Oh, it's been done. You just run a wire out there and back. But they have been known to do coolant temp sensors, MAP sensors, etc. They're not silly (at Regency Park) and know what's what with all the different cars.
    • Please ignore I found the right way of installing it thanks
    • There are advantages, and disadvantages to remapping the factory.   The factory runs billions of different maps, to account for sooooo many variables, especially when you bring in things like constantly variable cams etc. By remapping all those maps appropriately, you can get the car to drive so damn nicely, and very much so like it does from the factory. This means it can utilise a LOT of weird things in the maps, to alter how it drives in situations like cruise on a freeway, and how that will get your fuel economy right down.   I haven't seen an aftermarket ECU that truly has THAT MANY adjustable parameters. EG, the VAG ECUs are somewhere around 2,000 different tables for it to work out what to do at any one point in time. So for a vehicle being daily driven etc, I see this as a great advantage, but it does mean spending a bit more time, and with a tuner who really knows that ECU.   On the flip side, an aftermarket ECU, in something like a weekender, or a proper race car, torque based tuning IMO doesn't make that much sense. In those scenarios you're not out there hunting down stuff like "the best way to minimise fuel usage at minor power so that we can go from 8L/100km to 7.3L/100km. You're more worried about it being ready to make as much freaking power as possible when you step back on the loud pedal as you come out of turn 2, not waiting the extra 100ms for all the cams to adjust etc. So in this scenario, realistically you tune the motor to make power, based on the load. People will then play with things like throttle response, and drive by wire mapping to get it more "driveable".   Funnily enough, I was watching something Finnegans Garage, and he has a huge blown Hemi in a 9 second 1955 Chev that is road registered. To make it more driveable on the road recently, they started testing blocking up the intake with kids footballs, to effectively reduce air flow when they're on the road, and make the throttle less touchy and more driveable. Plus some other weird shit the yankee aftermarket ECUs do. Made me think of Kinks R34...
