paulr33
take it to a performance workshop, will probably take them 2 seconds to figure out if you can show them the wastegate is opening at idle Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/167463-boost-struggles-to-go-past-2psi/page/2/#findComment-3101293 Share on other sites

B-Man
Start taking pipes off from your throttle body back - when you start getting 0 (zero) boost when free revving , then you have found a blockage. Check each pipe section as you go. That is - if you have a blockage. If it was working OK before - try to retrace what changed between then and now. Good luck I only have the stock boost gauge.Kind of understanding where your coming from. I am going to try and figure out whats going on. Just have to figure out where to start. AutoTrust
If you didn't have the problem with the standard cooler and have the problem with the aftermarket one it stands to reason that the problem is with the cooler or piping. Pull it apart and check it out. sounds like you have a huge leak or a huge restriction. aquariuz6
Hi guys, Got stuck into it yesterday arvo. Took all the pipes connected from the throttle body up to the afm. No blockages. But I did however put the stock T piece boost controller back and once you rev it on idle the wastegate doesn't open up anymore. But I am still where I stood from the beginning, boost wont go past 2psi. MBS206
Does the car still feel fast as it did before? Maybe the stock guage has died on you.
