someones abit slow in catching on aye?....lol

tuff break bud but imo you were doing stupid stuff and just plain got caught for it. i sure wouldnt like to be on the road with you around no matter how good a driver you are. lets hope you learn your lesson and see you on the track.

ouch, sorry to hear about how harsh the penalties are, but good on you for realising you were doing something stupid and copping it on the chin!

just goes to prove that at least some of "us" are responsible enough to face the consequences when we act like dicks.

good show!

...but keep it on the track next time :/

:P damnnnn .... traralgon? ..............what was the towing fee?

i was mega lucky..... oct last year i was a dickface and got caught being stupid... all i got was a requirement to complete a defensive driving course...... didnt take the car either, which was good

1 year loss paul?

nah was 6 month loss.

i ran out of points. then went on the good behaviour (12 month thingy) and got another fine.

so yeah bend over and take it up the tail pipe. 52 days to go.

get it back july 23. so cant wait

I kinda understand why you did it, but don't know how you did it.

I mean, it's your ego that kicked in (fellas, come on, we all have egos) but how the hell did you manage to drift right into the lap of the cops?

Having said that, fark it, it's done, history, the past, gone and dusted... take it up the arse like all others before you.

I used to drive a 300 ZX around 5 years ago - was dragging (ironically a Skyline) up Footscray Road in VIC - we travelled at around 160 km/h - next thing you know it, I bet him by like 3 cars and bang, straight into the fence of some school-like shelter thing; my girlfriend at the time was cut in numerous spots, I was injured badly and the car was a totaly write-off - lost my license for 3 years due to reckless driving, possibly endangering lives and because I lost my points etc... so yeah, I'm now like 26 and I'm on my P's again... come on, does this suck or what?

Do the crime, pay the time! Simple. But hey, it's a lesson, learn from it.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
