Jacking Car Up With Side Skirts

hey guys

please dont kick me in the balls for asking this

but i just thought about this just then...

i have a stockish 32 gtst and wanna put in a turbo and exhaust

to do this i needa jack up the car

however i also wanna put side skirts on

dumb question...but if u have side skirts does that pretty much mean u cant jack ur car up anymore, ie u havta put it on a hoist

like doesnt the jack lift up on the side skirts...or do they all usually just push under/past the skirt no worries...

Considering you will be putting the car up for a while it would be a good idea to put the car on stands... If your jacking from the front, i have found the hook for towing the car does fine...

You will still be able to jack the car, no problems. The jacking points are slightly under the car, the side-skirts sit on the side of the car, and do not affect the jacking point under the body.

yes and you will find that its easier to jack a car up with skirts then it is to raise it on a hoist... i know thats the case with mine anyway lol

You can jack it up from the suspension connection points on the chassis. They are tuff enough! But yes, use jack stands too!
