Im lucky enough to work or a university. Do private lessons on the side to boost the income..make enough money thats for sure..

you can do it for sure but deciding whether you will be short or long term will also dictate how serious your job offers get,...

nah dude. from as in i was born there. u dig?

i reside in Sydney, Australia

Hey man,

i've been looking into doing the same thing, I've done a bit of a search and from what I could see the pay seemed quite decent, unless the places I've been looking in to are full of it. Some of the teaching places also supply accomodation, depending on who you work for. Teach International is the place I'm thinking of going through, from what I've read Nova has heaps of places and jobs but I think the pay and conditions are pretty poor.

in all honesty i cannot understand how people can go to a country they cannot understand and get paid less than 30grand a year!?!?

how much do these ppl end up saving up? LOL

i'd love to go over to japan for a while, but im stuck here in Australia coz of my massive loan (30grand, which was for my car) so yeah....

problem is we got a japanese girl at my work on a working holiday visa which ive become quite fond of, and i dont want her to leave :D

gotta make the most of the last few months :'(

You could always follow her back to her 'ununderstandable' country and get paid less than $30K a year... :D

I dont know where you get your info but i dont understand this place and still make around 50k a year...

In all honesty I can't understand why you would get a car loan for 30g.

I am one of those ununderstandable people living in a country I can't (actually can, thanks anyway) understand getting paid less than 30g a year and manage to own three cars with no loan.

And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Shit we must end up saving a bit, even with huge car habits hitting the track every two weeks drifting touge like there is no tomorrow.

Just because you have a loan, doesnt mean you cant come over here..you just have to put money into the account their taking it from regularly...

sell the car. that would help and besides you would get one so much cheaper here.

i did that for a year and a half...between 500 and 800 dollars a month..

not easy but its done now.

hrmmm...

i wouldnt be able to earn 50k thats for sure....

i have no "skills" so yeah.

and my loan is actually 2... one was 22k then the other 5k.

it was for buying a car then rebuilding it etc etc...the fkn motor is costing me a lot, and so are my mistakes.

So who here has undergone english teaching courses in aus? Just like to know what are the pre-requisites to learne to teach...and if possible let me know how much the courses genrally are ^^.

thanxu

i beleive you just need a bachelors degree of any sort to qualify.

mighty fine ass you got there zman...

perfect 10.

i think the previous post was regarding doing that in oz, and if it is its a completely different ballgame.

if it isnt, you dont even need a degree to teach here.

some monkeys get a job here straight out of highschool..

Yeah looking at doing a course in aus to teach in japan. I dnt really know what other jobs you can get (long term) in japan other than professionalised jobs. As far as i know working visa's are granted in 1 year lengths. Ive heard all sorts of things about visa, some of which state you cannot earn more than a certain amount of income?? Is there any other ways of staying long-ish term without marrying someone over there? not that japanese chicks arent hot, i just dont know anyone over there

dodgey sign language maybe? hahaha! If im lucky i will find someone over there who speaks english.....then marry them?? but am gonna start doing some night classes at uni so i dnt look like a total noob lol but know what ya mean its bout as challenging as having sex in a prickle bush :S . Whats the ave cost for an apartment over there, looking at osaka area?

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
