As to the vct, i cant help you much, havent had problems with that, best talk to a mechanic. Also uve got good power but 14.8 psi seems a bit high for a stock turbo to handle. it may last, or it might not, you take the risk. if it was me, id bring it down a tad to be on the safe side. Luciano
you can sometimes find these parts on eBay. just search 'r33' and you should get around 9 pages worth of various spare parts/aftermaket perfomance goodies/and sometimes useless shit. WAN73D
hey man i had a no worky or intermittent worky window as well all it turned out to be was a lose solder joint in the amp behind the door trim...all i had to do was open the lil black box behind the trim and re-solder the joint and it works everytime now, cost nuthin at all so i'm just sayin if u def no its motor gonsky then fine...but just keep a mind open and if ur feelin adventurous then think about this re-soldering ps, my window wss making the click sound as if to try and start to go down...but then the electrical signal wasn't making it all the way (loose joint). so if ya got the click happening then this could be it common thing in skylines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/173425-driver-side-power-window/#findComment-3189782 Share on other sites
SECURITY
p.s btw any tips on anything i sould know would be appreciated thank you. yeah... dont run 14.8psi on the stock turbo..... unless you enjoy rebuilds. dont take it past 10-12psi if you want it to last. Godzilla32
If its going either way i doubt it'll be the motor. More likely to be the dry soldier joint by the sounds of it. Save your money and take a careful look like wanted suggested.
