Might want to take your car to a weigh bridge one day to check that statement. My 4 door is 1560 with no spare, no me, full tank of fuel.

my car is 1440kg with the fiberglass bonnet.but on the rego sticker it is supposed to weigh 1360kg.go figure.i seriously dont know what crack they were smoking when they weighed the car.

I work for a Honda dealer the new tyre r's only came into stocktwo and a half weeks ago in auss, they look absoutly nuts in real life, a bit heavy but the car hadles so soo well, could do with a little more power the early thoughts werfe going to be i-vtec and turbo mmmm woulda been way better. as for price they reatail at 39,990+ on roads. comes only in 18"s cant option different wheels, they only come in 3 colours black silver and red, and as for seats cant remember the brand they arnt recaro but they look way better and are soooo comfy.

although all that said i'd take a gtr or even a gtst anyday. stock for stock that is

your a honda dealer and your on here spouting off about nissan products...

hmmmm...if i was your employer id be asking some interesting questions..like " Do you know your way to the dole office from here?" :laughing-smiley-014:

Its not as beautiful as this

http://www.supercars.net/cars/3841.html

that is a stinking hot honda that puts the S2000 in the shade.

Im glad the "performance" arm of the maker got their hands on it as well...yet ive aways been confused..

how can a perfomance car maker have a "high performance" division??

like its original products dont perform that well? :):D

I reckon it looks waay cool. Id go one for a daily driver and keep the Skyline for a sunday car. Only question is so what if it can beat a stock R34 GTR? im sure a lot of cars can scare a stock R34. What about a Gibson R32 or a nice R34 Track car? Then its in a little trouble... Did someone say VTAK to teh rescue? :sorcerer:

I love it when people go on about their car being able to beat a *Stock* Skyline etc. How about any 'Line running a bit more boost, good suspention, say around 250rwkw. Then have a go hey?

Yeah sorry about that - you teh loose, go cry in the corner EMO :)

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
