imho the incentive is wanting to get involved in the Club and be a part of running events.

It would make sense to get everyone who is interested together and do it as a group thing.

I'm sure we'll have no trouble getting the required observation days done by helping out at some other Clubs' events.

Agree - and in addition, IMHO if 'someone' takes the initiative, steps up to the mark and drives a group program to get what the club needs in terms of marshals/officials, then all the better - Sometimes, waiting for individuals to take the initiative because of the incentive of getting involved with the club, can take a substantial amount of time - Time that maybe could have been spent attending official club events and recruiting more members. Just my $0.02.

Agree again - but how about the synergy if coupled with the above ?

I don't know Dino, maybe I'm talkign out my arse as per usual...... do you see where I am coming from ?? Let me go re-read the links Dan put up so I can get a better understanding of what if on offer, what is required and try to couple this with what my understanding of what the club and it's members want in terms of Events requiring officials/marshalls - Maybe I am missing something ? Or my expectations are out of whack or something ?

The meeting will be held after the Observation Trial at the destination.

If you wish to attend only the meeting and not the run then please PM Duncan or Kel for details. Please do not pass on the destination to anyone else.

Thanks for your cooperation.

That subject was raised after the agenda closing date of the 1st of September, you may raise other general business if you like at the meeting (as far as I know anyway) provided that you are a Full Club member.

You need to read more toshi... I get the feeling that you only use these forums for whoreing! :)

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
