a different government department is wasting money trying to figure that out as we speak

you mean the government has people that can actually figure shit out!!??

unbloodybelievable! :laughing-smiley-014:

when did that happen??

This ad made me so confused I have written a letter to send to the RTA....

Dear Big-wigs at the RTA,

Recently I have seen your new ad campaign regarding speeding (http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/advertisingcampaigns/speeding_pinkie.html), in which is presented the new slogan "Speeding. No one thinks big of you”. In no uncertain terms this advertisement is drawing the conclusion that people who speed have small penises.

Now, as this is a new initiative of the RTA’s I am still yet to understand some of the finer details concerning the matter. Many of the RTA’s ideas have some hard-to-comprehend underlying issues, but for me this one takes the cake, and as such I felt it necessary to write this letter asking a few questions I would like answered.

Firstly, I would like to know if the effect is immediate on the male genitalia. That is, if a well-endowed man travels at the speed limit all of his life until one day when he misses a poorly placed sign, or a confusing speed change, and he accidentally breaks a ridiculous speed limit will his wang shrink immediately? Or is it more of a gradual effect that builds up over time? And, if so at what rate will it occur? If possible I would like to know the mathematical formula for the rate that the appendage will shrink – I.e. If n is the number of km/hr over the limit, is it a linear relationship with new_size = size-n, or is it an exponential relationship (size = size*1/n^m)?

The next thing I would like to know is if this means that there is now an easier way to increase the size of the penis without resorting to those dodgy pills that I bought over the internet. What I would ultimately like to know is this – if I travel slowly does that mean the size of my penis actually increases? And If I travel 20km/hr under the speed limit in the right hand lane of a three-lane carriageway does that speed up the effect?

Following on from these questions I would like you to clear up the issue of the sexist nature of the ad. From the campaign I could assume that either:

A) Women don’t speed and hence ad campaigns do not need to be directed at this demographic

B) There will be a follow up campaign alleging that women who speed have large vaginas, or

C) The RTA will be installing penises on female drivers which allow them (through examination of the current size of their penis) to monitor their speeding.

It would be good if you could clear up which of these three options is most correct.

The final details I would like you to clear up are a few inferences I have made from this campaign. Using logical thinking I believe that I can infer the following:

· Old ladies are slow drivers and therefore they have large penises

· NASA astronauts who probably achieve the highest speeds of mankind would have the smallest penises of all (however I’m not sure if your jurisdiction stretches to the U.S.A)

· Women drivers that speed excessively have very small penises, which from their point of view could be a good thing, hence encouraging them to speed.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this extensive list of queries – as you can appreciate I am quite confused over some of the issues raised by your new ad campaign, and I look forward to your reply which will hopefully put some of these questions to rest.

Yours sincerely,

Responsible male P-Plate driver.

you mean the government has people that can actually figure shit out!!??

unbloodybelievable! :laughing-smiley-014:

when did that happen??

i quote myself and do not in any way shape or form, say that i believed in any way that any one of us has a small penis..

at least, not in my case as far as i know..

they might beg to differ...

I saw the ad tonight on the tv. All that I can say is that the ad designer, and whatever are stupid.

They're targetting speeding. Not one of the cars showed that they were speeding!!!

One of them showed this fangadore doign a burnout. How is that speeidng? - so he's an inbred hick doing a burnout, what does that have to do with speeding?

Next one showed this fangadore driving past this woman wlaking in front of it when it was driving past! woman shouldn't be standing on the road, the guy wasn't speeding either.

Next one shows the fangadore doing a drift, and his pimplefaced friend in the back does the pinky gesture. IMO, it looks like a young bunch of blokes are going for a fang. I doubt if he'd come, that he wouldn't have liked it. in real life, he'd probably be cheering on, or he wouldn't be in the car. He'd be at home slapping the monkey on the computer looking at porn instead.

Seriously, not a single car actually speeding there. IMO, the speed kills ad actually was more effective. first time I saw it, I was like shit, speeding can be dangerous. But with this ad, I don't see how it is using young people's language. I dont' even know what that gesture means. Also, I'm sure that if peopel speed/do whatever, it's because they like it. I'm sure the guys here woudl agree, it seems to be a thing once you get your ps, most guys go out for a fang, speed etc. They do it because it's exciting, not to impress some girl standing at the side of the road.

ok instead of showing some hoon crappy stupid dumbass ad why dont they rta do something like this..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MOPcyUh-jg

Gives me goosebumps each time i watch it...

was the first time I've seen that add, it was graphic. I was in shock until i saw the car and the close up on the dash, the first thing that popped into my mind was vtec kills yo

I saw this hoon campaign video and laughed straight away, shows how much of a joke these laws really are. The add which follows is for police recruitments where a cop pulls over these hoons over arresting them mean while the granny is sitting on the chair with a big smile on her face saying "oh so big".

The ads are a waste of time, only a small percentage of road deaths are due to hoon behavior, the media has blown this term 'hoon' way out of proportion classifying anyone with a passion of modifying cars as one. They should be aiming their efforts at speeding, driver fatigue in staid of wasting so much money on school yard bullying tactics to inform a small percentage of society that they have small dicks for doing burnouts.

damn that clip from youtube was way more effective.

disturbing more like it.

i think in its own way it was over the top...

what bothers me is that they dont produce commercials like that that graphically show how poisonous maccas, for example is for you to eat..

if they made a CM about what goes into the food im sure thered be similar shock and outrage..

you know..its bad and all that people are dying and being maimed because of irresponsible drivers but its not really important that many of the companies and brands we love are poisoning us on a daily basis..

wheres the logic?

From JDM Style Tuning:

I love the first comment i see on youtube

"Clearly this ad is trying to say that all Commodore drivers have small wangs. But we already knew that, so its kind of a waste of tax payers money."

lame..

what they forget is half the time blokes do stupid shit in front of chicks *to piss them off*

I can imagine a whole bunch of blokes going to flop their chop out after doing a burnout too, just to prove a point :)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
