i created some designs

What do you guys think? I've tried to keep it fairly simple but also modern and in your face.

#1 p666design--sau-cap01.gif

#2 p666design--sau-cap02.gif

#3 p666design--sau-cap03.gif

#4 p666design--sau-cap04.gif

#5 p666design--sau-cap05.gif

See the taillight thingo, and the number plate synergy there for those that miss the obvious at first :P

I think I like #4 the best myself and would work well on a black beanie with say a white for the emblem. Number #4 would look great on say a white tshirt too i think in the centre.

For the beanie we could maybe have just design #1 on the front bit and then a line of those red circles along the base stretching around (i think you can picture what i mean).

It depends on whether we want the SAU address on there or not. To me its a bit geeky, but could promote the club more. If people like my designs at all, I would probably work more on a nicer font for the www.skylinesaustralia.com text.

That is my bit..wow i actually used some of my skills on this site - amazing.

for the hats... i wouldnt mind having the word "skyline" above all embroided in silver, then sau below it etc

for the beanies - skylinesaustralia.com around the lower part, wif a smaller sau logo at the front a bit higher up

my 2c

also put me in for 1 each

    • Doing a +T on my car and I’ve read the precious forums lots of mixed reviews from sometime back.  checking if anyone has any ideas for airbox or enclosed pod filter or solutions?  I was thinking stock GTT box but some say it’s restrictive? I seen some people try fit in a pod in the box anyone done that recently?  not any good enclosed options ? Thanks
    • I think in the modern era we live in, if I were converting a hydro lifter head to solid, particularly when chasing revs, I'd be seeing what I could do to use shimless buckets. Those of us with Neos usually have this persistent niggling fear of a shim getting spat out and ruining everything. Shim-over is...yucky that way. At least the Tomei kit appears to be conventional, but it would still be nice if they'd decided to go shimless.
    • Ok guys thank you very much. GCG highflow it is then 🙂
    • forgot to mention that when it does this it does not kill the engine, but I have not kept the pedal down long enough to let it, as I see no reason to beat up on it as its got to be something simple, small and dumb causing this.  And as soon as I let off pedal, the engine returns to its normal super smooth operation and rpms re-stabilize quickly, once below 4k.
