its certainly fun to drive! Mine was used for street/drift in Japan before it came over here. Had 9/7kg springs when I first got it! But in that vid it had the 7s (390lb) in the front and 325lb rears. The rear end still hates any hint of a bump! I've now moved the 325lb/in springs to the front and waiting on the 225lb rears to arrive. Should calm it down alot. But I'm more than slightly sceptical about the rear Tein Drift-Spec shocks as well... also have some rear radius/traction arms to fit, and after those changes I might try some pineapples if it still needs more traction. It will get there eventually. It hasn't even had an alignment yet!

Here's another update with my big little engine project. I spent last weekend installing cams, rocker covers and assembling the intake manifold and throttle body setup. The external oil feed for the head is now connected too.

The picture shows a standard RB26 timing belt on the engine which is too short. Ive sourced a suitable length belt from an audi 80 series that solves that problem. Twin tensioners are used to allow the cams to be positioned properly at 0 degree's. My high octane sump extension is being welded on this week and the pair of GTRS's should arrive fairly soon too with any luck, so not long till its finished now.

That is a mega mint R32 Ben, i sincerely hope mine looks half as tough

should have kept your weds then you homo. I still have mine. :D :D and they are the super duper 17X9 +18 ones. :)

I will give you 60k for it. Thats the going rate for a pedigree R32 these days isnt it? Yeh, the Weds are lighter then the homo TE37s i have got now....stupid me. I may have to grab back my 17x9 Weds and accept that i will only get to run 235s and not the 255s i hoped to run in the 9.5" TE37s.

I knew you'd pick that Harry. LOL

To be honest, I just can't keep it flat, it needs a little lift to get some transfer onto the front, otherwise big understeer = hello grass maybe wall. lol

I'd imagine though, if I did grow some man-balls, I'd be even faster than you than I already am around there :D lol (just playin mate :D)

    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
