I'm getting another JZX100

After losing a rediculous amount of money this year I'm only going to be able to afford a shit auto one, but I don't care I must have another (I really shouldn'tve got rid of my first one, but that's a different story)

Current: R34 GTT (modded as much as I am willing to stress the stock internals)

Next: Jaguar XF (maybe diesel) or Range Rover Sport

Spacious, schmick interior, easy/nice/lazy to drive tow cars. Keep the GTT as a track car until I can afford my next next car(New GTR or M3 or equivalent... maybe R34 GTR if I am lacking funds).

r33 will be kept for a while and would maybe replaced with a well sorted mx5 track car

the bluebird will be going next year and prob just getting my old mans VX berlina as a tow/fam car

Hopefully, providing all goes to plan and pay rises happen when they're supposed to happen, I will be reassessing my situation around January next year. If I can afford to then my plans are:

Upgrade R33 GTST to 94 R32 GTR V Spec or just a late model 32.

32 to be driven until it dies at which point I want to do a complete rebuild like Deren on here. Everything stripped out polished, painted & upgraded. Engine rebuild with around 600hp at the treads. I really want to do a stroker kit but not sure yet we'll see

After that Ill probably be needing a daily, would love to have an F6 Typhoon Ute as a daily. Ute is useful for me and plenty of power

Also like Terri I want to assemble a collection of GTRs. hehe we can all dream eh.

Current car: 32GTR i most likey keep it for ages. For performance i cant see me buying any thing els then a RB Engine.(Can't bet the RB26 all weel drive).

But for a daily i have a VL best car to run. But later on in life would'nt mind a clk320 96modle or newer.

current car: 1995 r33 gts25t m spec,

this will be after i pay off mine and finish pilot training and on the good $$$ ill sell mine at one point an stick with 2 wheels for a bit too, wait for the right oppertunity to sell my girl.

Next car: r34 gtr v spec II (Nur if i can find it) :P

Well a month or two ago I had my sights set on a S13 or a R32 or R33 NA but I think I'll save a lot more money in the long run by getting a Honda Civic; installing an exhaust and sound system. And keep that for about 10 years whilst I save for the R34 GTR. Although.. the way fuel pricing is at the moment, who knows what form motorvehicles will take by then. I.e. laws introduced banning the use of petroleum in cars, a complete lack of oil all together to support the global economy, introduction of new hybrid cars, phasing out of petroleum use cars

seb,

my fingures are crossed that people soon will start moving in the masses to hybrid then fully electric cars, because this will leave people like us petrol to race our cars, fingures crossed that its, (fuel demand in last 18 months has dropped 8ish%)

It's a little discouraging for the car enthuiast scene wouldn't you say? I mean not everyone wants to drive on track. But rather, use their pride and joy as their daily. I mean what will become of all of us here? For all the motoring clubs, who are in love with 90's and earlier cars.

mate time shall reveal all, im just impacient and like to know now. mate at uni is like just get electric race car, pffft i like my turbos, fuel through my vains and all the greatness of nissan, but ay maybe the r38 gtr will be electric or hydrogen???

    • Yeop... binned it   This will be a summary will not many pics atm and cbf  Fixed the samsonas - it was totally munched Put a new precision 7675 T4 on with proper split pulse mani Got to Sydney to get to car - drove to canberra to get racecar - drive back to sydney that night Next day all day at Plasmaman putting on new clamps cleaning some things up and adding another large engine oil cooler sitting at the rear above diffuser to keep things cooler Next day - Tuesday - on Dyno - killer wikid awesome pumped out really good numbers - more mid range and on lower boost levels Wednesday - first prac - all day again getting the suspension right - had to borrow front suspension again - out do a lap come in - out do a lap - in - what i had just couldnt handle the load at the more consistent higher speeds - got a lap in at the end of the day that was pretty reasonable  Put it this way that lap wouldve had me in 4th in Pro am for the whole event - with only 700 hp and used tyres Thurs first official prac day - lap out warm up - with above setting and 80% effort took corners 1,2,3 and into 4 car felt awesome -  rear came around out of nowhere bang into the wall near front on at whatever 140 kmph Done, over, gone Just one of those how did that happen apparently as all indications show nothing out of the ordinary Got to spend the rest of the time at the event like I hadnt done before - was actually Ok mainly as I had my family and my boy is 9 and got treated like a rockstar Long trip home, lost a trailer wheel in nowhere land, X5 airbag suspension gave up half way across nullabour and rode on bumps stops (its now completely fine) had to do a 19 hr drive day on day 3 as accommodation got screwed up so just had to keep driving till found a town with some Now to reassess - hopefully the motor and other things are OK but yet to be seen too. There is no easy fix there is no i'll just order that part and get it sent - we'll have a talk to people see what can happen and what the go is but at minimum its rebuild from scratch struts forward and alot of time effort and $ should and if I return and if but maybe/ when  I have the cage tied into the front strut towers - if I didnt have that things couldnt been worse you can say its just a front end but if you know what goes into these cars... you'll know what that actually means in reality   Car was very fast. Disappointing we just didnt get to show it Effort doesnt win you races though     Apparently this is motorsport !
    • Thanks, will do that.  Thankfully they still feel great.
    • Yeah man, absolutely. You can try pushing me all the way in swapping the R34 for an E9x M3
    • It's almost certainly going to be some amount of pads compound transfer onto the rotors. It will probably go away after you've run them for a bit. If not, pull it all out, lightly sand the rotors, scuff the pads, and rebed.
    • no one recommending speedtek gearsets?   i'm in the same boat as Cosline but rwd, I am holding boost back in third to 600nm at the hubs to save the gear as i make nearly 750nm at the hubs on a mainline
