I didnt think you could use mild steel for cooler piping as it would rust. When you say rust proof it do you mean rustproofing both the inside and out? If so, how do you rust proof the inside??

powder coating the insides is possible, just difficult to get 100% coverage

Was going to make a new thread but Im curious if anyone would want to fabricate me some cooler piping, I was going to buy a Blitz LM intercooler for my r34 as it directs piping back under the cooler and into stock pipes but my other option is a titeass front mount and pipes.

Can anyone help? Sorry bout the highjack but why waste space..

in my opinion stanless is the go easy to work with look great can be shiny can be mashined look or you can paint it and every place has it mandrel is good cause you can buy it at any decent fabricator,zaughst joint

i have doen all of mine in stainless always and when you are putting 20 psi thru it you can clam it down as hard as you want and the hoses wont blow off it would be the same price as ali

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point.
