older style HKS t04 turbo still in great condition .50 comp housing and large rear .96 rear wheel. suits 2.0ltr+ 500hp turbo. minimal shaft play side to side (like play that new turbos have, basically no play when oil is in), absolutely no in and out play,no fin damage, no oil leaks etc etc.

are you sure that's an HKS turbo? all i see is garrett in the picture?

Interested, what did u have this on ? Rb25 ? whats the spooling up like? slow/fast? is a modifyed manifold needed or will it bolt straight on to my Rb25det?Im guessing it has an external w/g cheers

I have to add this. open the second last pic. stare at the turbine wheel for a sec or two, then look to part of the carpet in the pic. now it will look like the turbine wheel moves. unless I had one too many pills with breakfast....

hahahahaa yes!!! it does too!!!

BTW: if you look carefully you can see the HKS on the rear housing right where that bolt is.

Would really be best if you answer the fitting question in the thread, would save you some time.

As other ppl have asked is this a direct bolt on for an rb25?

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.

    • Yep, its been down for a while, as I understand it it will be back soon.
    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
