ffs these ppl dont ever learn, better to keep it on the low cos coppers r cracking down on hoons... you will just copped it up the ass if ur caught. Also i think they r proposing to crush the confiscated cars now =/

[QOUTE] He said more extreme measures might be needed to stamp out illegal street racing.

You have to question whether, as in the case of the United States, the solution to this problem is in part the compacting of vehicles into a cube dropped on the front lawn of their homes,'' Mr Moroney told reporters today.Maybe that's the message that they've got to understand [/QOUTE]

ur right there duncan.

i dont beleive that the media want to let the message across to people that the track is where its at if there is to be any real order for racing on the street.

i particularly dont like the implication that street racing is coming from people who go to the drags.

It is getting hard to live in west. I have been for awhile now pff my P's but guys....my skyline is not coming out for another 2-3 weeks...hehehehe

When we stop speeding we get pulled over anyway for owing a Skyline, even is no skylines involved in this crazy.....race!!!!!

I realy feel sorry for the couple which died but why we are involved in all this????

EUG.

Hahah yeah I got a new haircut... (no its not me :) )

My brother & his wife lives at St Marys so looks I'll be taking the r31 grandpa spec out there and put my golf hat on rear parcel shelf...actually, i'll prob get defected for obstructing my vision

I agree with both Duncan and Trust33. Instead of advertising the fact that there is a legal place to drag race, what do the police do? Crackdown on those cars that are attending the sole place that will get the street racers off public roads. It's absolutely ridiculous. But then again, they are just implementing their typical knee-jerk reaction in order for the public to believe that they are actually doing something positive. The only positive thing here is that many of those who are supporting the legal form or drag racing won't be returning. Guess where they will be?

The police should have been at the many well known illegal street racing spots that are all over Sydney. They know where they are, but that would mean that they actually did something right for once.

Idiots.

Oh, and why the hell would they have undercover officers inside WSID? Again, that will do nothing but facilitate the widing of the gap between police and driver relations.

Clowns.

well....squashing a car into a cube is no worse than keeping the car in a police impound where everything like stereo/wheels etc will be stolen off it and insurance won't cover it.

Bottom line is - cheif of police sai he doesn't understand what it will take to get through to hoons. Clearly true because he is alientating the people whose attitude he is trying to change

Oh, and why the hell would they have undercover officers inside WSID? Again, that will do nothing but facilitate the widing of the gap between police and driver relations.

undercover officers to do what?get a look at the cars that are racing legaly.then burn them for driving it home after an event.

its downright bloody rude.

hang on.lets start getting the people walking home drunk because they are in a no alcohol zone.compareably the same shit.

it doesnt take a genious to see that they are being assholes.and that they should really be out targeting the real criminals.killers, rapists, assaultists and drug dealers.

i think they were only after people speeding, not defecting anyone. be realistic, not everyone who goes to WSID is a car enthusiast and only gives it a hit on the track. alot of those who get done are spectators who are hyped from watching it all night, not just the competitors.

it wasnt a shit go, if you were speeding that night you got caught. move on?

If anyone was doing anything wrongn going to and from WSID or wherever else, then they must cop it sweet. that is probably the only part of the police blitz that I cannot and will not be against. This is a given no matter where you are on public roads. How many of these cars were done for illegal street racing? None. It was a blatant crackdown that was designed to make the police appear to be doing something proactive in the eyes of the public, where in effect, all they were doing was making those who were supporting legal off-street racing think twice about attending future WSID events for fear of being defected or worse. I don't agree with the undercover police being at WSID unless they have a serious motive/suspicion of illegal activity. If the purpose of this blitz was to target potential street racers, then they should be out at the many well known street racing spots with the aim of pushing these racers into going to WSID. Instead they are doing the opposite.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO. But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions? EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
