I'm pretty confident the blits ones are legit, they come with a letter of approval etc..

Here's the site for those interested: http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/index.php?pr=Shop_Now

To answer the weight question, a friend of mine has one on his R34 and it's quite heavy still. A little lighter than standard but because it has the skeleton etc that keeps the weight up there.

I have a ADR approved fibre glass bonnet, I got mine from DMD there alot heavier than standard bonnets the bonnet itself wieghs 15- 20 kg's.

But having it ADR approved has saved me a few times with the police, just have to keep the paperwork in the car at all time that relates to that particular bonnet

Let me explain something folks.

There is no such thing as ADR approvals.

The best you can hope for is that a business constructs/fabricates/builds in accordance with relevant ADR/s and so marks the item as meeting the specific ADR/s.

There is no specific organisation that actually goes around testing everything to give "ADR Approval".

Of course a business that falsely label an item as meeting the ADRs is in breach of a number of acts including Trades Practices.

there is such a thing as adr approval, it's not a specific company that does the testing. It's that they must have certain test's run on the component to meet adr regulations then once they have been done. ADR then approves the part by giving it an ADR number.

All automotive part makers need ADR approval before selling an item to fit to a road registered car as a legal part...

No there is not a company that tests stuff call "ADR" but the maker needs to supply test information to get an ADR approval...

Been there done that :)

Worked part time as a kid in dads shop :worship: I think I only got like 20cents a day, ripoff.

But I guess when your 7-8 years old a days work is really just eating lunch and trying not to look directlly at people welding... :)

    • Agreed, I've never seen a 260RS specific manual. As GTSBoy said it will mostly be stagea other than the engine loom https://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/stageaservicemanual.pdf
    • You'lll likely have to make do with R33 GTR for engine/tranny stuff, and Stagea for the body. I don't know that there's even been an actual diagram seen in the wild.
    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
