Nefret
I hadn't started my car for a few days because i was fixing the front lights, but prior to that i had just put in a new oil filter and oil and now out of the blue it starts blowing out black smoke and shaking ? I checked the spark plugs and there all fine. Just wondering what it could be ? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/183110-r32-gtst/ Share on other sites
msnismo
Black is fuel.... and by shaking do you mean miss-firing? Are all your coils etc plugged back in properly...? Nefret
Yeah like... the idle drops to 500 then if i start it again might be normal idle but still shaking Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/183110-r32-gtst/#findComment-3320302 Share on other sites
msnismo
Well if its miss-firing, I'd be replacing the spark plugs, checking the coils and wiring .... and afm.. guessing that was disturbed when you did the lights.... ? Stage2
If its shaking, it could be one of your coil packs gone. Have you checked them? You can check them by unplugging one at a time and when the motors doesnt change, thats the one thats gone! adam-__-
Could it be your battery by any chance? You said that your headlights were turning off for no reason, but that reason could've been because your battery was stuffed. When you re-wired the lights, they might've drawed more power giving less to your engine/plugs.
