Round?:nyaanyaa:

Lol, jokes... It's actually tighter than my daily Mazda 323.

Yep, Id say its on par if not better than our 2002 Ford Laser and similar vintage Focus; which imho is pretty good considering how big they are!

Essentially the same car as my 2000 323  .

Frankly I don't get it , they all have CV jointed front axles, so theres obviously no excuse for a tiny car having the turning circle of USS Missouri...:whistling:

Looks nice, only down side with that one (imho) is the integrated bose stereo - meaning you cant easily just put in a new single/double DIN stereo - and if it (the bose stereo) dies, it takes the aircon controls out with it.

Id check the 'For Sale' section on here - I know a few guys are parting ways with their Stags at amazing prices at the moment; but unsure of where they're located.

Whilst I like the Dayz bodykit and Autech interior...

... I received an email about that particular M35 months ago. Pretty sure it had considerably more kms on it back then (if it is the same car of course - but you don't see very many black Dayz kitted M35's).

Aaron - Cheers mate. Will have another look in for sale section again. Did find one but I think he has sold it now. But first need to sell the chaser before anything else.

Dunc - Thanks for letting me know about the Bose stereo issue. So has anyone successfully removed and replaced it with a newer head unit?

iamhe77 - Interesting.. hmmm sounds sus (if it is the same car). From who did you get the email from?

Theres a few different options; you could buy a new/used centre console, AC controls, etc from Japan and get all that fitted - or possibly some half way method whereby you 'cut' up the console. Best person to speak to about your options with it would be Chris Rogers (hes a member here on SAU) - hes somewhat of an expert with all things electrical in the M35 and V35

It was an email sent by imports101 prior to the current company advertising it.

Btw, the current company had it advertised initially at $24,990 (about the same as what a 2006 Stagea would set you back), but that was prior to it landing in Aus.

*Hint*

If you want an M35, look at the ones available on this forum, most are from members that are pretty up to speed on these cars... or if you want a dealer warranty, get an M35 from Northshore Prestige. They really do find top examples and don't wind the kms back.

+1 to that; they've got a black M35 on there with a bunch of Nismo options (exhaust, spoiler, suspension) at the moment - quite reasonably priced too! Id be checking that one out for sure

    • The wiring diagram for the R33 RB25 is freely available, and is essentially the same same as most other RBs (just with differences as to which pin # does which job). To get the ECU to power up, you just need to provide power to the ECCS relay, and have the other power feeds that come in from the top left of the wiring diagram (wrt the ECU) that give perma power to the fuel pump relay, the ECU itself, etc etc, all connected. When you put power on all these it will just come to life. It's pretty clear from the diagram what needs to happen. Just follow the lines from the 12V + supply stuff in the top left over towards the ECU. I've even posted snips of such diagrams (not for vanilla 25, I think for Neo and 26) to various threads here in the last few months, talking about what it takes to get the fuel pump and FPCM up and going. Search these up and they will help get you started on doing the same with the vanilla 25 diagram. Hell, for all I know, I've done the same with that one in years past and have forgotten.
    • Yep...so unless someone posts up the answer you will need to probe from the ECU connector to the dash plug with a multi meter in continuity mode to trace the wires.  Note the ECU has multiple - and + (and across different key settings - Battery, IGN and Start) and most likely the power is fed from the connector(s) that is normally near the left hand headlight.
    • Thanks Duncan, I am actually just trying to get the Rb turning and running with the RB25DET S2 original loom itself  I am just trying to get it going outside the body and not thinking about the S15 or trying to match anything to the S15 loom at all I am only trying to see if anyone has done this and what pin they found to be the ignition trigger and ECU+/- on the dash connector, that's about it. Thanks
    • Hi Guys, Does anyone know any aftermarket part numbers for a starter motor to suit the VQ25DET? I can find lots of alternative part number for the VQ35DE, which I assume would fit, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there. Thanks..
    • I don't understand how this hasn't boiled down to - Upgrade the turbo when you have everything required. ECU, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, etc. Do it all at once.  If you don't have everything required, just enjoy the car as it is and keep saving up your pennies.
