Actually, one other question...

Does anyone know where I might be able to get a couple of 25L tanks to bring fuel down? I don't want to have to do a day trip to get fuel!

pretty sure if you go to like a 4wd accessories shop that sell stuff for of roading they should have big jerry cans that big.

Thanks - I've been told that supercheap sell that sort of stuff

G'day Budge - Thanks for the offer - I'll see what supercheap have - but if there's nothing available, I'll take you up on that offer...

I'll PM you later if I don't have any luck.

Cheers,

matt

Mat, I have 2 you can borrow if you like.

Pick up and drop off in Rowville.

If anyone else needs Jerry cans i have two 20ltr cans myself and i will also be going to PI for the weekend.

Just call me on 0427 076490, if anyone wants to use them for the weekend.

NO SMS'ing as i can't reply on my work phone.

Cans have previously been filled with BP Ultimate; just in case it matters

Matt - I'm just there for Saturday... can't make it Sunday.

As for fuel cans you can get 20ltr cans anywhere, supercheap, bunnings etc.... But there is BP Ultimate in Cowes not far from the track. I take that 100ron optimax stuff with me so i use jerry cans.

Long story short, BSP is unheard of here due to being an English design. I'm surprised our nazi anti english government office the OQLF hasn't kicked in my door yet just talking about it, yet alone imperial anything.
    • Thanks for that! I did a quick Google search looked up some of hydaulic stores and didn't see it listed on the website, I'll give them a ring. Also found out later that I can buy 2 oem bleeder bolts for 10 bux and come with the washer which I might do so I don't waste the money it costs in petrol to find 2 washers (already did that lol). The old copper washes look in good nick, I drove it after taking it off and putting it back on and didn't see any  Part number here for reference if anyone needs: 14053-42L0A
    • Piggaz had one and broke it at 470kw
    • I'm going to assume they flipped it, as the timing setup in the AEM is catastrophically wrong. Once it is fixed, they'll likely need to swap it back to normal.
