Thought this might be more appropriate in the Wasteland,

Lock your doors and roller doors every night, and put the alarm on. Don't get lazy!!!!! Just got broken into last night, PS3 with games, Panasonic handycam and mobile phones all gone. Thank god the GTR was safe and tucked away.

Scary thing though, mum woke up and saw the bloke in our house, he looked at her and legged it. Mum woke me and my dad up and I burst out the house ran around the corner and chased the bastards as they drove off. How is that, while we were asleep?

Anyway, sorry to put a downer on everything, but don't get lazy guys. I think in these times this sort of stuff will be happening more as people get more desperate.

and Damo my R34 front lip goes into production in a few weeks , all CF and fully functional venting..?

be up for some orders after a checking the arc on another front bar? cost TBD but hell of a lot cheaper then Nengun and better venting.

hope to have it done for the show and shine

Extremely keen sir, you can sit it up against my nismo bar if you like.

Geez..Thats pretty scary ;) Glad your mum is ok and the guy legged it!!

So she didnt scream or anything?? Your Mums pretty tough :)

Sometimes the home owner can be more unpredictable than the intruder, think about it, home owner has the home court advantage, knowledge of rooms, weapons of choice, the intruder would be stupid to stay and challenge!

Sad to see stuff got stolen tho, hopefully insurance will replace!

I wish she did scream a would have been up quicker, oh well, it is just material things but it is the fact that we were all in the house at the time.

My brother said before he went back to bed was, "I hope the last hit of drugs kills them", I couldn't agree more!

sorry to hear that michael

dont you guys have zoned alarm for your house

i know that if someone accidentally walks into my house in the middle of the night

the alarm will go off in a sec like a house on fire lol

maybe have a look into that for the future mate

ADT do some good home monitored alarm systems

Some 10 years ago 4 theives broke into a house in St Agnes. Raided the living room and woke the home owner. Theives found some display swords and armed themselves. End result was 4 theives requiring paramedics.

The house they broke into was my old instructors home. The display swords were blunt, and sensei was a "little" more experienced than those stupid idiots. He was humble and we had to press him for the story. Sensei detailed to us how and what went down ... these idiots had no training whatsoever, but thought their "street fighting" would better a professionally trained instructor in his own home. ;) FAIL!

My house is a bit like Fort Knox now. Alarmed, hidden cameras, and I'm int he middle of installing a surveillance system which allows me to log onto a PC anywhere and visually see what is going on around my house. :)

Hmm, very interested in buying this ...

I love old school muscle cars. I've always wanted an SLR, but this is only a 253 (SLR lookalike). Its still very affordable. ;) Of course, it would be my little project. Fix it up and do it up as I drive it as my daily.

I haven't done a V8 project yet. Done everything else ... rotary, 4 na worked, 4 supercharged, 4 turboed, 6 turbo, 6 na worked. Had a V8 project when younger, but shed was broken into and car trashed before completion. I'd love to do this as my V8 project.

If I do get it, I may be inclined to sell my black Stagea. The car is on gas too! Oh so tempting :)

    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
    • Funny, but really not funny. Thank god (most) f the world has moved on since then
    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile
