too true.....imagine having no real possesions other than your car with a big loan on it, then you lose your job and then your car gets crushed.......a few angry banks me thinks when the kids forfeit on their payments and there's no car to repossess.

The Advertiser don't have any competition so they pretty much have freedom of journalism and the politicians can use that monopoly to their advantage to.

There are so many instances where something makes it's way to media and others don't. Not wanting to get flamed for this but an example....

Aboriginals involved in a car chase gets front page coverage and a 6.01 pm time slot on TV. Same thing happens with non indigenous and not mentioned at all....... and before you all go flaming me for that I know for a fact that 12 months ago a former employee of mine did get into a high speed pursuit towards Virginia and crashed the car driving whilst disqualified and it didn't so much as even get a mention on the radio yet alone the TV.
