"Premium100 is a high performance petrol with an octane of 100, which is the highest rating available in the Australian market. Ethanol is a natural octane enhancer - adding 10% ethanol to petrol boosts its octane number and its performance. Ethanol helps the other components in petrol burn more completely. It also has a cleaning effect on the cars fuel system. Premium100 will give your car more zip! "

reading from that it should b better then BP ultimate. i might have to give it a try... i fill up tuesdays so might use it 2moro. any1 tried it?

Just be careful with ethanol blend fuels! I put some 98/10% ethanol in mine and the knock reading skyrocketed. Was tuned on Ultimate 98, tuner said that any ethanol blend fuel is trouble unless you retune for it. Due to the amount of extra fuel needed and less timing because of higher burn rate. My knock went from 30 on ultimate to over 200 on ethanol blend!

Oh and Damo, go for the chrome/orange globes. Last thing you want is nice clear side markers with daggy orange globes.

I am speaking to Luke_ENR about it, which seems to be clearing it up a bit for me.

I get the 040 in the cradle, but it doesn't go back into the tank. I now have a theory that the end/base of the 040, needs to be in the same position as the OEM pump. I was mounting the 040 a little bit further down, where the "C" bit of the cradle is, was where is was putting the line on the 040. the "C" bit, holds the OEM to the cradle as it has the pickup go through it.

ffs I couldn't have imagined it being so frustrating trying to buy a "near new" car .... I think I am on a winner this time - we will see what the mechanical check picks up on THIS one tomorrow.

pritty sure there is a guide on the site??

also i thought that the 040 is not a direct fit replacment?? but maybe thats just for gtr's

It isnt, you need to modify the cradle...but i think i know what to do now. I did look at the guide, it helped me a bit.

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
