"The Day Winter Struck Back" ? We are not at war. This is not a to and fro affair of one upmanship and cunning play. This is weather and only weather. I was unaware of any competition between the citizens of Adealide and the Weather. I was not informed that I was to battle it out with the elements at any given opportunity. How do we score, are there points for umbrellas being turned out, or not getting wet on you morning stroll, where are the rules? Can anyone help with these pressing issues as I want to do my part in the great battle of people vs seasons. Is there also a summer series to look forward to or is it only winter that gets to play hard ball with us mere mortals? Posted by: Richard of Somerton Park 10:17am today

I am not impressed by the gallery, these pictures are old and not enjoyable. Please update your technology to put the photos in a relevant date or category order for more pleasurable viewing. Posted by: Ryan of 10:04am today

Good photo, Greg Higgs. As of 9:20am this morning, it seems to be the only photo of yesterday's weather. "Relive the Anzac Day storms" - why? The re-running of out-of-date photos (some even duplicated) from 4 months ago does not bode well for a pay-site Adelaide Now. " Adelaide 4 Months Ago" would be more accurate.

Anybody want to play indoor soccer with writeoff and myself at the O'Halloren rec centre on Monday nights?

It seems we need players for the team of any skill level as it is just a social kick around, but as i found out you do need a basic level of fitness.

PM me or writeoff if you are interested

Cheers

Shaun

rofl....count me out...i was known as the steam train when i used to play...took me a while to get to top speed...then it took a while to stop....i had a weedy little punk try and take me on once.....nearly broke his leg then had the audacity to have a go at me about it

Check out the hoon map. Someone submitted that a Skyline, with a passenger, was holding a office chair out the window while hooning and then threw it out the window?!

How the f**k do you get a office chair in a Skyline?! I lol'd.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
