How about this... if you're worried that you might get defected for whatever reason... just go straight to the pizza place. On that point though... you may consider making your car legal in every way if you drive it everywhere.

just sayin'

Good point mars, but it's a small price to pay if it means the cruise is not to be hassled by the cops from the very start isnt it?

Just let them know there will be 'a group' of cars there.. They are much more likely not to call the cops if they at least have some clue that there is something going on rather than shitting themselves and panicking when 100 noisy cars randomly turn up in their car park!

tbh, I reckon if you call and say "we have 50 skylines coming to meet here on friday" they will most likely say: "we don't give you permission to use our carpark as a meeting place" if they say that, and you guys turn up anyway they would quite possibly have cause to charge with trespass. it's a tough situation. I guess if you call and ask them, and they say no then at least you will know in advance and can organise another spot.

An alternative is to meet on the ground floor of the Westfields carpark (the big, ex council carpark?). In the far corner, as far opposite the Victor St entrance as possible.

The ground floor is relatively low car friendly, and in that corner there are fewer people parking as its really far away from shops. Being away from the exit, you generally won't be interfering with customers coming and going, so its less of a hassle for management.

Also, there's an open air carpark between Claude and Archer St across from the Westfields carpark. I don't know if it'll fit 50 cars, but it will fit quite a few. Its across the road from the police station though.

Ok people I have just spoken to Andrew at Chatswood Chase and everything is ok with us meeting there. To make sure, i ALSO spoke to the people that do the security there and they're aware that we'll be "taking over" the carpark on friday night. Once again, when you come in please do it in an orderly fashion as we DO NOT want any problems with ANYONE

Thank you.

That's awesome. Thanks Mars..

Wow.. proper organisation and stuff.

I'll call Lucky and Peps and let them know we'll be there as well

nice work mate  I'm surprised they are cool with it. but that is a great result. it means the likelyhood of hassles has just reduced to practically nothing. providing all attendees behave themselves of course...

I will remind everyone that trying to set of your BOVS, or gate, or generally just trying to fang in the carpark is not considered cool by anyone. yes we all know how loud and manly your car sounds in an underground carpark, but keep the speed below 10kmh and the rpm below 2500 and everyone is a winner.

It's either Baron or Adam.. They do it to me all the time

lol, it was adam. I think maybe he doesn't remember about how offical sau is and was just trying to raise the level on spelling on the forum. but we all know this really is offical. no doubt.

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
