Mr. Oizo
1996 JZX100 Tourer V 2.5 L turbo 5 speed Wine red Rated C 72,000 kms 17" wheels Intercooler Exhaust Suspension Recaro seat Boost controller Factory exhaust included inside the car. Allow from about $32,000 plus tyres and on road costs for this one, thanks to the 5 speed transmission which tends to add another $4,000 to $5,000 to the price of 1996+ Chasers. Compliance would require removal of all performance modifications including the aftermarket intercooler. Following registration, the owner could of course fit back the original modifications if they wish to, in keeping with the licensing regulations of their State. Cubes
I don't mind the look of the actually.. Stock for stock it looks like the Chaser would kick an R33. Maybe not Rev210's as his is 'special' Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19196-toyota-chasers/page/2/#findComment-406346 Share on other sites
Mr. Oizo
1997 JZX100 Chaser Tourer V TRD sports 5 speed 71,000 kms Rated C HKS intercooler HKS suspension Exhaust BOV M's airpod Bodykit 18" Volk Racing wheels. Quickshifter Clutch APEXi boost gauge and FC commander unit ABS TRC traction control CD stereo Another example of the cars the Govt. don't want us to have, modified that is. Mr. Oizo
the climate control looks strangley like the one in my mums car... o.- Chasers like this one are now eligible under the new SEVS system, and compliance is only a matter of weeks away. Now is a great time to buy before Australia-wide demand increases the prices which is inevitable. This model is destined to become as popular an import as the Skyline and Soarer have been for the last 3 years. The modifications on this one would have to be removed and replaced with factory items to get through compliance. Following registration however, there are no restrictions on owners making performance modifications to their vehicles providing they comply with their State's regulations. 1997 Chaser JZX100 Tourer V VVT-i 2.5 turbo 5 speed SRS airbags x 4 (front and sides) CD player Bodykit 18" wheels Lowered BLITZ NUR exhaust Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19196-toyota-chasers/page/2/#findComment-406352 Share on other sites

GT-Rmgedon
Saw one of these the other day driving behind it on the Parkway in Canberra. Thought it was just sum regular jo-blo camry till i got closer and saw Mark V Series 2 on the back. It was black & was being granny driven by the owner. Looks so much like a sleeper I reckon anyone that gives it a go would get a shock! siksII
I have seen a MkII JZX100 in the flesh, the first and only one at the time, and prob still now in australia, it is at a dealership on parramatta road, and it is F***ING BEAUTIFUL. It is one of the only auto( ) cars id love to own. SO yeah if u want to see one, drive down parra road, i forget the dealership, it is one of the import dealerships on the side going towards the city. Well worth seeing, i think they want about 36k for it. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/19196-toyota-chasers/page/2/#findComment-408171 Share on other sites
DennisRB30
They are a fkn awesome car but I couldn't justify 36K for one when it's possible to find a neat low km auto R33 4 door for 11K... Spend half the difference on the R33 and it will shit on the stock chaser in every way.
