Quick question guys, is the speedo on a manual 32 gtst cable or electronic?

from memory they arnt overly expensive.. pick one up at your local Nissan dealer/spare parts center!

you may find that its not actually a snapped cable it may just be the drive on the dash end that turn the needle but you still just buy a whole new cable anyway im pretty sure.. well thats what Nissan informed me

yeah thats right. about $100 from nissan for mine about a year ago.

thanks for the replies guys. i dont want to buy a new one as i am going to bastardize it to fit my bmw.

i wil probably only use the very end bit.

maybe i can buy someones snapped one..................

there are places that can make up cables im pretty sure, forget the name of the place, other then that theyre like $80 odd trade from nissan, or a wrecker wuld do if ur just gona chop it up into bits.

They aren't repairable. So they probably aren't "bastardisable" either.

well if your going to bastardize it the a vl one will fit on the gear box end but not the dash end.

i've got a stuffed on in my garage, the dash end drive is flogged out though.
