Saw a hot purple 32 sedan this arvo with what appeared to be an even hotter girl driving. Southside towards Capalaba. Nice going! good to see the girls are coming out with some nice rides.

Saw a R34, eithe rblack or navy blue, round springwood, southbound on the M1 last night around 9:30pm.

Showed good form and waved to a wagon, and then proceeded to give the finger to a stupid 180 trying to gee both me and him, in fairly heavy traffic :)

spoted white R33 with blue race strips down both side in Bay Tce manly tonight VERY nice car hope you got your baby out of the storm in time plate was GTS## I think,

I was the one that pulled up behind your car in a little red corolla.... around 8pm

spotted a .. red? 33 on Glasshouse Mountains Rd at about 3:30 on Sat 22/10.. Veilside sticker on window.. saw him a few times.

also a 180 a little earlier, maybe 3pm, on the freeway leading to g/house rd, pulled over, obviously having problems. Sorry we would have stopped to help but we were running late for a wedding!

Seem to also remember a white 33 in the city late Sat night watching me, watching him, while I tried not to lose it going too fast around the cnr in a crappy white Accent (rental) lol.

Spotted heaps of skylines over the weekend.. don't remember all the where/whens etc but damn theres alot of imports around Brisbane! :D

Saw a silver R34 (NEO34) tonight on the freeway heading south. As much as you are another skyline driver, please DON'T sit in the right hand lane with nothing beside you and then BLOCK me when I tried to go around a slower moving vehicle then slow down again once I went around the left.

Yep I'm the evil one (NEO34). Ha ha. just kidding. Anyway to tell the story correctly, I was driving at a constant speed with my wife and two kids in the car when you unfortunately found the truck in front of you (in the middle lane) driving at a slower speed. At this point my front end was nearly inline with your rear end in the middle lane. One of three things could of happened.

1. Either I braked suddeenly to let you squeeze in on the right hand side. Which I saw no need for, the truck and I were doing a similar speed anyway.

2. You just stay in the middle lane, slow down a bit instead of being in such a rush. Wait for me to pass (as I was) then move into the right hand lane if you wish.

3. Just move into the left hand lane (of a 3 lane motorway) where there was no traffic in front and continue accelerating, if you could not wait for me to finish passing. This is what you chose to do in the end, so good for you (No malice intended)

When we first moved onto the motorway from Mt Gravatt, I was trying to get up beside you to wave hello, because I saw your SAU sticker and I remember Drew and John (fellow SAU members) talking about your ride 'MSPSI'. When I finally got beside you, you wouldn't even look over. Maybe you had a bad day or something, I don't know but you kinda looked angry about something and not interested in saying hello.

Oh well maybe we can meet on better terms next time heh.

    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
    • It is the stock air box with the panel filter. Everything else is stock except the exhaust at this point, as I also went back to the cleaned 270cc injectors. I will check the RPM when the IACV is unplugged and report back.
    • As MBS suggested if this is happening when the engine is cold you're going to want to remove the intake air regulator and verify resistance + that the shutter is physically opening and closing. At -20C should be fully open, 20C half open, over 60C fully closed. At 20C should be 70-80 ohms. For AAC valve testing using a Consult cable see if you can raise and lower the idle by commanding more or less AAC duty cycle. Hopefully it's pretty linear as well, shouldn't be like 30% AAC valve is barely idling and 40% is 1500 rpm.
