PM-R33
Just go to a local shop that does stainless steel pipe work and welding and get them to make you one. That way you can get it as long as you want it and in a certain direction. ie. if you have a big pod filter or something. RBwhatever
If your after functionality, this is a cheap way of achieving it. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t173019.html If your after the looks, Apexi do a kit....but it ain't cheap. Your best bet is to get one fabricated for roughly $200 odd max. tom_v
Thanks KeyMaker, do you have a link to this Apexi kit? I want a complete metal one made up with no plumb back nipples on it or anythin as its all being removed. Hopefully when it goes on it should perform, look and sound great Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/192282-pipe-from-afm-to-turbo/#findComment-3457462 Share on other sites
RBwhatever
Ah ok. No I tried looking for one briefly last night but couldn't find one. The Apexi one has all the plumb-back nipples on it as its designed to be a direct replacement for the stock pipe. So its probably not what your looking for. Plus it costs in the vicinity of $400+. But I think it comes with everything like a filter and a pod box. I'd just get one fabbed up. Stainless would look best. Plus you can specify where you want the pod (if your going to use a pod) to sit. Some guys say its just a 3" 90degree mandrel bent pipe with an extension on it and thats all it is. It came out nice but BAMR33 in post #3 made an interesting comment.
