that is indeed good news... would be great if there's a contact point for each state, unless you wanna fly around on a 'road tour'

(says he thats driven 2400 kms so far and is in sydney currently.)

saw andy today in person and did see his car. there is a little bit more to cover on this according to the discussion we had on this today before it goes live.

I believe i will have it available to me be before the end of this month, but I have been a bit busy the last week to push it along. I will try to finalize some details later tonight.

Rianto (RS73) has said he would like to do this in Victoria. I will be giving him some more details in the next few days.

I'm from Adelaide. I got a 2001 V35 & looking forward for the conversion. have you got any idea about the waiting time ?

Hi Guys

A quick update on where we are at with the launch of this Language conversion.

I am expecting to do the first install in my 2003 M35 next week. I will then be testing the conversion for the next 2 weeks and advising the developer of my findings. This is to minimize the risk of errors during this early phase.

This should hopefully have us ready to start installing in December. I am sorry for saying we are ready to go in November but it has turned out not to be possible.

Thanks for your patience on this matter.

I will try to post up some pricing later this week once I have locked in the few final details.

well, after a couple of years of not reading the V35 subforum, this is the first thread here that i have read and i must say that i'm impressed with Andy's persistence with this issue. however, it is a pity that half way through reading all 27 pages i was disappointed to discover that this won't work for my late model 2005 V35 :happy:

anyway, hope that the software works for you guys!

Update:

I have now converted my system to English. :(

I will be evaluating the system over the next 3 weeks to ensure all the pages work in an optimum manner.

I will post some more details of the pages to be converted soon.

We hope to be ready to go around the 10th December.

      I am well aware as I did rant at him to buy a MX5, buy the 2.5 before he DIY'ed it, etc as well as do things to the holden. He will obtain a ND. It's the best of both worlds. They look great in person, definitely the best looking one. Just a matter of time now.

      ouch! how is the car now?I had sold my gtr but have been looking into some on trademe and a 260RS but I wouldnt be keen on any repairs needed on them

      Just back on what was raised about jacking off the the tow/tie down point on the front of cars. I've used it plenty. I've also watched it on a car where you could see it move the front end of the car. It was like the front end/whole car being tweaked and twisted a bit. I will say, I struggle to find good jacking points on MOST cars. The ones that have good points, I then normally struggle to find a jack tall enough to make the car change height!   One of my go to points for either the jack, or the axel stands though, is either a suspension pickup point, OR a subframe to chassis major bolting point. I actually think its the subframe on my R33 that has a bit of a bend in it, from being jacked in the middle too. However, it could have been one of my many other cars I've had over the years! Or it could also be the from me jacking it up, and the fact the top of the front radiator support isn't there, so it can allow the front of the car to move and bend etc.
