Strawberry Face conversion....????

wow that really would be unique!

r33 GTR could look quite cool, with black v spec lip down the bottom, would be tough as.

But I gotta say I'm lovin the look of the wagon with the conversion... Hmmm makes me want to consider a stag... they are much more practical...

 loooook`sss AWESOME DUDE it has to be the YELLOW just mint BRYCEY :P i think it`s a STAND OUT ,Are they the wheel`s ???,dude have a look at the last pulsar side indicator bling fit in well on series 2.WELL DONE IT WILL INSPIRE US ALL  ,CHEER`S chuckie.

Hey Brycey im still in envy of your car mate it looks great :)

I headed down to Nissan yesterday and got some prices for anyone interested... These were trade prices from memory

these are all genuine r34 gtr parts

Hinges - $171 for the pair

non zenon headlights - $1150 for the pair

zenon headlights - $3630 for the pair

bumper reo bar - $355.80

im still up in the air about going the zenon lights at the moment, they are a damn site more expensive but still tempting. I found a brand new set on Yahoo Japan for $2800-$3000 delivered from Slidewize imports.

also Brycey i cant wait for some more pics, especially of the headlight mounts and the cutting of the radiator support u mentioned earlier.

hey brad u can get ballasts, leads and globes to suit any light type for around $150 on ebay so unless the headlight enclosure are shaped different go the cheaper 1.

Thanks Jerome, good info, so Zenon is the same as HID yes? have u got your zenons working yet mate? how much of a difference is there between normal and zenons for vision at night?

unique1 - nice list of prices! it took me about 45 minutes to get prices on the Xenon headlights and the R34 front indicator enclosures at my local Nissan parts outlet (hopeless!) so i just gave up on them. i got the same price for the Xenon's, and the orange indicators were around $80pr.

as jippa mentioned its much cheaper to buy non-xenon headlights and install a HID kit, you'll save a fist full of cash. i prefer the design of the Xenon headlight enclosure but the non-xenon style has really grown on me, especially with the eyelids!

cheers Chris :blink::devil:

here are some new pictures from today. i kept them at a high resolution so just a warning if you have dialup! few things to point out - the bonnet needs some slight adjustment, the bonnet also needs the rubber that goes between the front bar and bonnet, the plastic inner guards need to be re-installed, the rear bar needs some new chrome strips, the side moulds and rear wing need to be re-sprayed, engine bay needs a re-spray, all the engine parts and piping (plus plenum) need a re-spray, CCubed is currently working on a v-spec diffuser - which will be fantastic as it will bring the front end down alittle bit, a few other odd's-n-ends and mild mod's down the track, but for the moment im pretty happy with how she stands

have a great new year!

Looking great Brycey, i emailed CCubed and he replied with great and info and pics, definately good customer service, gonna order the bits and pieces through him asap once i sort out what i need. I picked up a r34 gtr genuine front bumper yesterday from a mate for $300, the bonnet and east bear front lip fell through and is sold so i missed that dammit :D

Im definately gonna go the lower lip, vspec or east bear one (i think they are the same?) to make the front lower.

have u got little flares on the rear gaurds? is that part of the rear kit?

nice work mate a very interesting spin on the stag. we will have to meet up so i can see it, and you can see ours.

Boz

yeah mate for sure  let me know

Excellent customer service  great to hear that you're getting parts! took me a very long time to get my collection happening.. that’s extremely cheap for a genuine front bumper! nice!

CCubed make both the skirts (the lip and diffuser) for the R34 if you didn’t know.. and yeah on the rear they are flares, genuine Dayz option, i had them on the front aswell but they are made for S2 guards :bunny:

nice 1 brycey. i reckon you have got a few people interested in the conversion now. what u gona do bout that number plate blocking all your cold air to ya fmic?

i trimmed my plate down to fit in the bars recess for plates. not shure if its illegal but it looks the goods and being a yellow plate will blend in good. i kept the state name and trimmed off the black border

post-32337-1199059488_thumb.jpg

defiantly going to mount the plates in the correct position, i think its actually illigal as it sits at the moment :D ... i plan on getting some slim front plates.. just gotta find a number plate extender/mount for it, and think of some plates!

    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
