Granville Tuner Matter Resolved. Thanks For All Your Support

Recommended Posts

I recently got to speaking about a bad experience with a tuner who has a vase full of turbo wheels on his reception desk. Interestingly Ive had 4 others tell me about the same vase and similar experiences.

So; anyone else cop the same teatment.

PS: if you dont know what Im talking about, then you havent been to the tuner, and there is no need to worry.

Just say the tuner.. Save me alot of worry..

Why does he have a vase full of turbo wheels? Just because he like blowing his own turbos or enjoys watching peoples hard earned cash fly out the window?

lol

So why start a thread then

I have copincidentally found 2 EVO owners, one RX7 owner and an XR6 turbo owner who had the same trick pulled upon them that I had.

I just want to know if anyone with a skyline has had the same problem. Hills Motorsport says that 2 other Skylines have been hauled into his workshop with these problems, and like me, they are suspicious about this tuner.

NB It is of course not the very reputable Hills Motorsport.

I dont want to turn it into a discussion until the court case is settled. But Id love to know if anyone else has had the same problem.

Remember if you dont know what this thread is about, then you wont have had the problem.

I still dont understand why you posted the thread if you cannot name, or wait until court case and yet you want to discuss.

We havent got much info to go on here.

And my car is sitting in a workshop right now and how do I know its not this place you are reffering to?

yeh give us the name or at least the story of what the problem is, all we know now is there is a dude tuning cars with turbo wheels on his desk and there is a court case involved, give us some info

lol,

Just out of interest; what prompted you to hand over the keys to the guy behind the desk when he had a vase full of turbo wheels sitting next to him?

i don't think it's yavuz either, evil. He doesn't have a desk or a vase :)

The matter is progressing through the courts at the moment and should finalise in about 10 days. So I dont want to pre-empt any legal process.

hahah yeah right.

NSW legal system for dummies; Civil court 'can' have juries, made up of 4 jurors, but this is rare. So unless the judge is surfing SAU, and you are giving information that has not already been submitted pertinent to your case, which i doubt you would do, then you won't be pre-empting legal process.

But on the area of defamation, that is a separate issue.

So if you said, 'i went to 'V8s rule Workshop' and my car blew-up on the dyno, and are taking them to court over a concern regarding potential malicious treatment', that would be fine legally for a couple reasons because you are stating what have become public civil court records, you are stating what has happened/happening and importantly you are not making a preemptive decision on the outcome.

But because it's not forum rules, and i know if I was the workshop and had potentially killed your engine, i wouldn't be very happy with the kangaroo court that these things turn into on forums.

Oh for f**ks sake... IF YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND THE THREAD IT'S BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT or IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THE WORKSHOP, SIT TIGHT, WE WILL KNOW IN ABOUT TEN DAYS BUT AGAIN, DO NOT WORRY, I REPEAT....f*kEN RELAX.

:end rant:

    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.

    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
