got dragged of the line yesterday even by a toyota camry, 98 model, with a massive cannon exhaust, gauges, stickers, but maintaining the hub caps for that sleeper look.

I was winning till the end of second gear, when he overtook me, speeding away into the distance.

Unfortunately, I hadn't realised that we were racing, otherwise I would have taken off even slower.

saw a korean snot box thing today.. bad enough ehh.

total stocker.. plus the owner thought that the factory didn't fit anywhere enough guages..

as i passed it, i spotted a monster tacho and it had 4 freinds! All on the dash.

aaarrrghh glud they are too chaep to buy a skyline!

SPOTed toyota Kluger with RALLYART STICKERS ! @ gardencity last nite

Spotted that last week at Cannon Hill McDonalds and laughed to myself...

The owner didnt look like the type that would take pointing and laughing too well...

Still it does not beat the VY SS ute with Nismo accross the back window I spotted down at Bundall Harvey Norman carpark on the gold coast...

spotted a black xr6 turbo ute at the lights at booval fair with gtr muncher sticker on the back. I have never really been one to take on someone at the lights but gave the gtst lets say a lot more than normal just to see the look on the "gtr Munchers" drivers face, it was gold. So now i might develop small mans syndrome and start hunting down GTRS cause i totally destroyed the GTR MUNCHER, LOL

When i was down in melbourne a few months ago, had a camry drive past me, with type-r and gtr badges on the back of it, as well as its sportivo badge and a trd sticker, and a skyline gt shield badge on the side by the indicators. tried to take a photo with my phone, but cause it was night, and nokia cameras are absolute rubbish, didn't turn out that well.

a brand spanking new Commordore with GTR badge on the rear !! ... i mean .. WTF .. Grand Touring Racer Commonwhore ? lol ..

Commodore..... GTR badge....

Ok guys who's missing their GTR badge? Looks like we found the bogan who took it

While your removing that badge from the bogan.. cut up his licence and numberplates!

I saw an RB20e backed by auto today. ohh the saddest part.. it was in an R33 with a full GTR body kit and a FULL set of GTR badges.

The owner promptly told me how 'she flies' and 'smashes' clubsports! After I got revived by mechanic mate(cos i damn near died from laughing).. the mechanic suggested he go for a spin in mine. so.. after i hit boost and he SCREEEEAAAMS like a baby for his mama.. he asks 'whats that funny tornado sound?'

I was so ashamed for him.. perhaps he should buy a camry

Hmmm, I wonder if I could sell this person my blow off valve  worth a try. "you get this fully sick tstsusususuusu, the chicks will be all over you"

I saw some idiot in a skyline who has cut a hole in the bonnet..

ohh, that was my car! lol

I saw a harley yesterday.. now, don't get me wrong, I'm NOT a harley fan.

But this bike was mint! It had all the bits.. but it looked really REALLY different. very slender tank.. Massive donk, the fattest rear tyre I'd ever seen on a bike and all beautifully clothed in silver paint. It was on a ute.. sure hope it doesn't go on the road. Stone chips would totally ruin it.

I actually looked for so long that I thought about turning around and chasing it to get an even better gawk!

I have also seen the Commodore with Nismo sticker! Made me look twice then i thought meh, he wants a Skyline, maybe he's slowly working up to one!

I've got a 75 ford transit van with a worked up 351 in it, body looks like shit but that just adds to the shock on ppls face, not long after i got the car had a couple of P platers in riced up rice burners thinkin they were hot shit ( can't remember what they were but all of them had the same car, gadges and boby kits on their tiny lil average 4 banger hatch backs) 1 of the knobs tries to drag me off while i have a car infront of me with now where to go. Got a finger gesture in my mirror when the third lane opened up and so did the clevo. My r34 gets left in the dust of this thing (but is cheaper to drive), what hope does a rice burner have!!!

i saw some sweet polynesians in south auckand driving a 1980 nissan bluebird with chrome towl rail on the boot, and front panel (under bumper)........front and rear spoiler! so sweet!

anyone here own a N14 Pulsar sedan ? grey in color ? .. also had SAU stickers on it .. TRD fuel cap sticker , Rallyart Neck Cushions. and a GT-R stciker on the side panels above the indicator ...i didnt take a pic of it thinking the owner might get pissed lol...

P.S this was in gardencity last nite Level 2 carpark..

    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
    • So I prepped the car for another track day on Wednesday (will be interesting to see coolant temps post flushing out and the larger reservoir, with a forecast of 3-14 being 20o cooler than last time I took it out). Couple of things to mention; since I am just driving the car and not taking a support vehicle, I took the rear seats out and just loaded the back up Team Trackday style. Look at all that space! To cover off removing the rear seat....it is weird (note the hybrid is probably different because it wouldn't have folding rear seats) Basically, you remove the lower seat base, very similar to a r series but it is a clip that pulls forward to release the base rather than it being bolted down. Easy Then, you need to remove the side section of the rear seat on each side. There is a 14mm head nut at the bottom of the side piece, the it slides upwards off a hook at the top to release; you also need to unhook the seatbelt from the loop at the top. Then the centre piece is weird. You need to release/fold the seats forward with the tab in the boot on each side From there, there are 2,x12mm headed bolts holding the rear of each seat to the folding bracket, under the trim between the rear seat and the boot (4x christmas tree clips there, they suck). The seat is out but you can see where the bolts attach to the bracket
    • As discussed in the previous post, the bushes in the 110 needed replacing. I took this opportunity to replace the castor bushes, the front lower control arm, lower the car and get the alignment dialled in with new tyres. I took it down to Alignment Motorsports on the GC to get this work done and also get more out of the Shockworks as I felt like I wasn't getting the full use out of them.  To cut a very long story short, it ended up being the case the passenger side castor arm wouldn't accept the brand new bush as the sleeve had worn badly enough to the point you could push the new bush in by hand and completely through. Trying a pair of TRD bushes didn't fix the issue either (I had originally gone with Hardrace bushes). We needed to urgently source another castor arm, and thankfully this was sourced and the guys at the shop worked on my car until 7pm on a Saturday to get everything done. The car rides a lot nicer now with the suspension dialled in properly. Lowered the car a little as well to suit the lower profile front tyres, and just bring the car down generally. Eternally thankful for the guys down at the shop to get the car sorted, we both pulled big favours from our contacts to get it done on the Saturday.  Also plugged in the new Stedi foglights into the S15, and even from a quick test in the garage I'm keen to see how they look out on the road. I had some concerns about the length of the LED body and whether it'd fit in the foglight housing but it's fine.  I've got a small window coming up next month where I'll likely get a little paint work done on the 110 to remove the rear wing, add a boot wing and roof wing, get the side skirt fixed up and colour match the little panel on the tail lights so that I can install some badges that I've kept in storage. I'm also tempted to put in a new pair of headlights on the 110.  Until then, here's some more pictures from Easter this year.
    • I would put a fuel pressure gauge between the filter and the fuel rail, see if it's maintaining good fuel pressure at idle going up to the point when it stalls. Do you see any strange behavior in commanded fuel leading up to the point when it stalls? You might have to start going through the service manual and doing a long list of sensor tests if it's not the fuel system for whatever reason.
