benny_blanco, doesn't hurt but what a pain in the arse, remove fuelpump fuse, cas plug or whatever and that's just as good. unless you want to pull kickpanel on and off and undo a 10mmbolt holding the loom in the computer and risk damaging the loom rippin it in and out..hehe...

Don't do what Donny don't does.

hey what did donny do?

btw, add a couple more things to add to that list...

1, investigate microdotting parts off your car (you can now apply the stuff yourself and register your details online)

2, security etching on your windows (last time i remembered it was around $50 from raa)

They won't prevent your car being nicked, but a professional thief might move onto the next car if he sees your car is etched.

hahaha.. lol bad donny *smacks*

Another option.. DIY Ghetto Style GPS tracking.

If you've got a GPS enabled phone already which you don't mind stashing in your car.. then just go directly to the site http://www.mologogo.com/ - time for me to go hunting on ebay for a el cheapo phone.

If someones in my house to steal my ride they wont be leaving it either.. maybe in a body bag.. I dont care wat anyone says.. Breakin into someones house in the night while they are in the house is asking for confrontation.

Another ridiculously inexpensive tracking system.. using an old phone as a cellular tracking device.

Now this is a fkn great idea, SOOOO easy too. I'm gonna hit the local jaycar and get a box to mount it in so it looks like another computer in the car... could mount it anywhere

It's pretty clever hey.. does anyone know where we can get non-expiring pre-paid sim cards?? you know the ones where call credits don't run out and your card doesn't get disconnected after period of non-use.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
