Runs a hiflow kkk turbo and is pushing out 430 ish hp at 1.2 bar, has upgraded suspension and is still quicker than most new turbos on the track have seen it at a few porsche track days. Have driven a few times now and its quite a rush with the the big single turbo on a 3.6 litre

going to be a daily driver for me though

tacker , are you or annyone you know over there looking for a r32 car for racing, i have black r32 that maybe up forsale? :)

russ

p.s your new porker looks fantastic, especially for a daily

Roy not quite.

this old girl is a 964 and its the last of the aircooled single turbos. The 993 is the last air (or oil as they really are ) cooled engine, and they are twin turbo and is a mighty beast to boot. And nearly crapped mine too this weekend .... 3 times in fact. must say its a very raw type of power delivery whoo hoo

Chuckie,

yep less than 2000 world wide and only 768 LHD, one of the rarer 911 for sure.

Awww say it aint so Russ! say it aint so!

had a few nibbles on the 33 and its been posted in the UK as well this week i believe.

911, 930, 964, 993, 996, 997 ...lol only Porsche die hards know the difference. :) To me they are all 911s. :)

But its the last of the rwd ones isnt it? Around 1993? So many of the old 911s getting around today with update kits/bars etc and look the part at a casual glance. Would so love a lates 70s 911, you see them around for 35k in good nic

nice i've been spending more time around 911's lately (last weekend with a 996RSR). Turbo ones are great, speaking to a mate on the weekend who has 993's, 996 GT2 and just ordered a 997 he swears by them as both street and racing ones as the turbo engines are more reliable than the na ones as they are stressed less to make the power. as long as they are maintained properly

CAPS LOCK makes my eyes hurt. Im well aware of the asking price of them....my point is there are plenty of 1978-1982 Porsches with the update kits so that a quick glance at them and yo uwoudl think they are the 964 Turbo.

This has a crazy rear spoiler but gives you an idea of what i mean.

another one

The panel beater that sprayed my old Impala did a update kit on and old Porsche, it was nicely done and very nice car. Personally i like hte late 70s 911s, though the mid 80s ones with those horrible California bars (the low speed front impact test bars) can do with the update kits :)

Thats Damn Fine.

Ive always had a soft spot for Porkas.

How does she go with the heat in the desert?

Those Wheels and Tyres are probly worth more than my R33 lol

P.S ROY you can pick up Ferrari Mondials For between 30-40K.

    • Hey Murray, hope all is good. I took your advice and put the filler first then the putty. Seems like a much better result but i noticed there are still pinholes. I even had pin holes when i initially put the putty on the body filler. Do you think it has something to do with my spreader being f*cked? I attached some images. This is the intially body filler i sanded. No putty yet  Applying putty. Final result after using wax and grease remover can see the pin holes. I just noticed as i look at the putty application it looks wavy not sure if it's supposed to be like that or because of the spreader.
    • Hey all just wanting some advice. I’ve just compression tested my RB25det and these are the following results  Cyl 1 - 135psi Cyl 2 - 135psi Cyl 3 - 120psi Cyl 4 - 140psi Cyl 5 - 130psi Cyl 6 - 125psi   do these numbers seem ok.  Thanks in advance
    • I must say - this is how I picture all R31s!
    • Rust repairs completed, doors back on! pretty much totally back together running now. All future repairs will be fiddly wiring getting everything back up to road condition.  hasn’t  taken that long considering the condition I got the sub. note my helpers keeping the back seat warm 😂
